in order (in my opinion based on Duff continuing with 5 at the back with Wing backs)

(1) Commanding and experienced Centre Back
(2) A strong box to box CM who has vision to play forward
(3) Additional Striker to compete with Yates, Cullen and Kuharevich.

In darlings defence he is often finding himself isolated out wide covering when Ashby goes forward. He’d already had to give away a cynical yellow card in the first half because he was stuck out there on his own. The winger was having a field day against him after that. The system has a lot to do with it.

Why? Darling may have been one of his signings that he brought to Swansea but having 2 full seasons and seeing how players cope in certain situations and have developed he's going to be in for the best players he can get for the best price. Not funny... It's just football - remember there's little loyalty in the game these days.

He’s not obliged to sign the same players over and over. Had Flynn Downes bombed here I doubt he’d have taken him to Southampton.
