We signed 3 defenders yesterday. I doubt Naughton will start again.

No way.
Thanks Kyle

Should still be in front of Woods and Cabango in my book, spent his time today trying to cover their arses.

Never knew getting old would happen so quick!

Would it be possible to prebook tickets for for next seasons game against Wrexham as i believe they will be like gold dust for this all Welsh league one encounter.

As a few said after the Bournemouth game, plenty to take from that match as we only lost by the odd goal to a prem team, yep ok then.

We won’t go down. We’ll sack him if that starts to become likely. They’ve invested too much into this squad to let that happen

You are one of the doom mongers who only come on the revel in the misery.

I do wonder how you lot exist.

Btw if you think I'm happy with the start and the way we are playing then you are wrong, I'm as p!ssed off as everyone else, I'm a realist and a positive person in everything I do, I don't throw my teddies out of the pram after 5 games of a 46 game season, I'm waiting another 2 months, I will then make my mind up.

the only worry is, when (not if) they sack him - I give him to the end of October if we dont see radical improvements, will Watson get his way and bring Nathan Jones in, or a manager who brings back progressive, possession and passing football?

At the moment, early days, but we are playing basic, dour football and we’re getting comprehensively outplayed.

Dour, winning football and at this point even losing, entertaining football would be better than this.

I think they’d be savvy enough to learn from their mistake, look at the squad and bring in someone who could play to their strengths.

Win at Cardiff and everything changes mind. It’s a huge chance for him to wipe the slate clean.

I am pointing out to you that every time you answer him, he can’t read it, so is there any point?

You don’t have to log in to read comments.
He is not averse to slipping in the odd one from the Wirral etc.
I highlight posts from all and comment as to the post.
Frankly,I forgot what Ed and me fell out over. When I’ve been with him,he d been alright .
He was brilliant at Huddersfield a few seasons ago getting stewards to realise one of our own wasn’t using racial language .
I’d have him in my corner ,for sure, and I’d have his back too if trouble popped up.I’m not senile yet ..

You must have been overjoyed with the last two seasons then and absolutely gutted when the last decent manager we had in Cooper left, saying that i was disappointed when he left as well especially seeing the great job he is doing at Forest.

Going on recent form, relegation is more than a distinct possibility.

I'm really dreading the Cardiff game.

It will all click into place once we sort out the left hand side if the newbies are up for it.I think we have the plàyers to make the right hand side effective giving what we have seen so far, as for the middle be it defence, midfield or forwards there are enough players to be juggled around and would expect them all be pulling out the stops to claim a place in the team.
May not be sorted by Cardiff game but happy to be proven wrong.

Firstly he did a great job in getting us into 2 play offs and a Wembley final and secondly he did it having to manage under these owners and that is no doubt one of the reasons apart from a better contract with Forest off course that he left, we are now in the bottom three and have been quite poor for the last 2 seasons achieving nothing and you moan about a guy who had us contending to get back in the Prem. and is doing a good job with Forest.

There is no doubt he did well, we were challenging the top 2 positions then suddenly his @rse fell out in February and we were lucky to get into the play offs as we were playing so negatively, no wonder brentford didn't get out of first gear to beat us, I remember praying that he was going to get us to attack but no, it was the usual surrender football, it didn't bother him as he was already planning to leave.

He has done well with forest but so would any half decent manager with the money he's had to spend.

What WR said.

But he was leaving us before the final anyway.

Think forest came in for him whilst he was on gardening leave.
