Apologies if there is a transfer thread I'm opening a thread for the January transfer window which has now opened.
Who should be a potential signing for us and who should move on either via loan or permanently? I've heard Kyrell Lisbie & Gus Scott Morriss mentioned as potential targets but could they potentially make the jump from NL to L2? Some players do but others don't.
Plus actual transfers that we bring in & out can also be mentioned here. |  |

Interesting. From the Wikipedia page, it says that he was offered a professional contract by Leicester Tigers in 2018 but decided to pursue a career in football. |
Should be a strong no nonsense player then. He did well for Swindon in 2021-22 in L2 so maybe this is his preferred league? | |

He was only 19 then as well. Played in the same team as Iandolo, Hunt and Payne so at least a few of our players should know what he's like. He's still a young player and could turn out to be a really good signing. |  |

looked a bit rusty coming off the bench vs Harrogate - which is worrying considering he has played 25 times already this season for Stevenage!
Maybe lack of training time with the squad (although has played with a good few of them at his time at Swindon) and we'll see better from him as the season continues  |

Agree. We've seen the Taylor/Tovide combination at home, so perhaps DC will start both Taylor and Simpson on Saturday, so that we can get ahead early and then shut up shop later in the game. |  | | |

He hasn't played since 4 January but in fairness to Tyreece he was not allowed to play up front with Taylor and was expected to simply lead the line with little support for the last 30 minutes.
He is a big unit (maybe a little too big) but clearly is strong and powerful.
Harrogate played with 10 behind the ball and showed little ambition towards the end of the match so he was always a marked man.
Will be a different player when linked up with LT.

Instead let's get the best out of Tyreece Simpson, retain Samson Tovide and look after Lyle Taylor.

No I agree that we shouldn't be taking another gamble on JB and let Gills or Fleetwood take a gamble on him if thats what they want to do. Though he had a reasonable 2020-21 season for us he has done very little in the last few seasons For Bristol Rovers & Notts County. Lets focus on bringing a fresh striker in. | |
