Week 27 results NORWICH CITY 1 DERBY COUNTY 1 Jerry Yates slotted home a 92nd minute penalty to end beleaguered Derby's miserable seven-match Championship losing streak and prevent Norwich from moving into the play-off places. Nobody got this spot-on, and only oxfcolu had the outcome. The other 23 predicted a win for Norwich. with 12 going for a 2-0 in what was equally the weeks most predicted score. SHEFFIELD UNITED 2 PORTSMOUTH 1 United edged past strugglers Portsmouth despite an unconvincing display to move back into the Championship automatic promotion places. Everyone predicted a win for United, with a super 6 having it spot-on. HUDDERSFIELD TOWN 0 READING 0 Huddersfield stopped their run of three straight defeats to remain four points ahead of Reading, after this bore draw. Nobody got this spot-on, but 4 did have the outcome. 18 predicted a win for Huddersfield. ROTHERHAM UNITED 1 SHREWSBURY TOWN 2 Shrewsbury made it back-to-back wins to improve their chance of staying in League One. Another game with no 3 pointer, and only noah4x4 and Moor_Pinot got the outcome. 19 predicted a win for Rotherham. BARROW 3 GILLINGHAM 0 A comfortable win for Barrow, as they extended the Gillingham winless league run to nine games. Yet another game without a 3 pointer, though 16 did have the outcome. CREWE ALEXANDRA 0 NEWPORT COUNTY 3 Newport's resurgence continued as they claimed a third straight win with an impressive victory. A final game this week with no 3 pointer, and only basher2010 got the outcome. 22 predicted a win for Crewe, with 12 going for a 2-0 in what was the weeks other most predicted score. FLEETWOOD TOWN 2 CHELTENHAM TOWN 0 Goals at the end of either half from Matty Virtue and Mark Helm made it four wins from six for Fleetwood. Well done to Daniel for being the only one to get this spot-on, and a further 14 had the outcome. SALFORD CITY 2 TRANMERE ROVERS 0 Hakeeb Adelakun scored a brace for Salford, to give them their first win in five League Two games. Tranmere have now lost their last nine away games, their worst sequence since 1978, when they lost eleven in a row. A super 6 had this spot-on, and another 15 got the outcome. Another week where all the home teams were well supported, but as usual it never proved to be that easy, with only four obliging, and with five games failing to have a 3 pointer, it turned out to be a tough week. The other three did have 13 in total, with the Premier coming out on top by 10-3, but it was the 71 total outcomes that gave most members a reasonable week. Only one member, RSCOSWORTH, did well to have two 3 pointers, the wins for Sheff Utd and Salford, and two outcomes, to make him the weeks top scorer with an excellent 8 points. There were eight members who did best of those to have one 3 pointer, they were thrillseeker, ghughes11, Jorash63 and Madeira163, who each had the Salford 2-0, basher2010, oxfcolu and Moor_Pinot, who each had the Sheff Utd 2-1, and Daniel, who had the Fleetwood 2-0. They each also got three outcomes, to give them all a decent 6 points. In the Premier Four outcomes for mfb_cufc keeps him top, but his lead was reduced by a point after blueeagle got the Salford 2-0 spot-on. Having the Sheff Utd 2-1 spot-on helped unitedwhites to also get a point nearer the top. The decent weeks for thrillseeker and Daniel keeps them in contention, in fourth and fifth. Having the Sheff Utd 2-1 spot-on keeps Sector4 in the top half, but only on the most 3 pointer rule from basher2010. The top scoring performance fron RSCOSWORTH eases his relegation worries, as he remains in eighth place. The only change in this division has ghughes11 moving out of the bottom three once again, as he is replaced by concordman. In Division One Three outcomes was enough to keep bwildered top for the third week running. Up a place into the other automatic spot again is noah4x4, after his good five outcomes. Three outcomes for Tropical_Us, means he has to settle for third place. The decent week for Jorash63 moves up a place to fourth, to equal his season high. Four outcomes for durham_exile, but he drops a place to fifth. Two outcomes were enough for Lewis_1 to hold onto the final play-off place, as wessex_exile also got two outcomes. The decent week for Moor_Pinot moved him up a couple of places, and within sight of the play-offs, as are BFG and Blue4U2.
