Always the U's Gerry, though I have spent the evening sharing text messages with Spireite Craig. Great result, and definitely deserved, but it was a scrappy difficult game for much of it. Tbh, I was glad to see the back of Madden, always seems to be a thorn in our side usually.

In Robbie's interview he did stress he still owns the M&T facility, which the new owners have a 2 year option to buy, so he has that security blanket if he needs it. I think he also owns Florence Park, which can be sold for housing for a tidy sum if needs be, so I think he's okay tbh.
Assuming he will eventually sell up, because all things always come to an end, I have no doubt he'll sell for the right price and only if it's a good deal for Colchester United. However, from the little I know of Robbie from personal experience, I'm certain he's going to want to remain in charge to see where the Cowley experience takes us. | |
