I really don’t think the way we played under Williams or Martin suited him. Receiving short passes while being pressed and trying to find pockets of space isn’t his game at all. Clearly he’s not at the same level as Franco, O’Brien or Allen, but I think he’ll be a much better substitute playing the way Sheehan does.

As I've alluded to It's why he looks so awkward and unhappy

The coaching under Williams was inadequate for sure. It determined the Swans had a team that is unfit due to the repetitive passing rituals we have reported on so many occasions and were an issue for Matt Grimes. Now it’s clear Sheehan is trying to expand our play with players who don’t possess the fitness to complete his strategy. It doesn’t just fall down on fitness, it’s falling down on awareness in the important areas, mental fitness too. There have been far too many examples of any player having that extra yard to get on the end of chances, and that goes for any player in the opponents area. Either that or they are muscled out due to a lack of strength. Just an opinion which added to the fact not many of our players are of a good consistent Championship standard as Franco is displaying atm. I will leave Bianchini, Eom and Vipotnik out of that for now as they clearly are nowhere near the quality a team needs to make an impact on this league. Mere back up players.
