There have been a huge number of things I have hated about this season.
Our insistence on sticking with 3 CB’s is right up there.
Why the hell do we do it?
Nobody in the Prem plays with 2 up front.
We are wasting a player in central defence who could be playing in midfield and helping to push us up the pitch.
As it is, we are just going to concede territory and accept that we are going to be spending most of the game just sitting back and hoping the oppo don’t score.
It is a tactic which is doomed to fail.
Rusk can do one as well; he has shown he is as tactically inept as Scruff. |  |

I’ve never seen us play well with the back 3 but the few times we have swapped to a four we have looked better. It’s baffling and has been going on for a few years. |  |

Absolutely correct. Five at the back means we relinguish the midfield because two holding can't cover enough ground and the other's AWOL. Teams press forward, dictate the middle and our forwards don't get a sniff.
On the odd occassion we've gone back to basics and played 4-4-2 it's generally worked OK but the modern manager's play book says 'No'!
4-4-2 means a team of mediocre players might get a result anything other means the they'll probably lose in the Prem. |  |

West Ham are there to be got at today.
In a poor run of form and natives increasingly restless.
But we are just going to meekly surrender to them and barely get in their penalty area.
Just have a bloody go at taking the game to them.
Go for it. What is there to lose?

Imo this is our best team.
Our best 11 players playing in their correct positions.
I appreciate this isn't saying much and the 2nd half will likely result in us conceding at some point but at least we look like a team. | | | |
