There’s a lot of interest in him, you would expect numerous teams to have inquired, especially Burnley. They will have to pay top dollar though. Not a good time to go hunting for new players of value for any club.
Thing is an inquiry, basic check, asking for a value and making an offer are all very different scenarios.

Then the instalments to a certain amount each year plus the all the other stuff like add ons and milestones. Been told it is quite rare for a player to trigger all these extras in total.

If they do sell him the real test will come in the summer. They would have £12 m or whatever plus their probably already planned summer transfer spend ready to to invest in the team at the end of the season. And the VIP transfer money would not count toward PSR (?) I believe.

According to Keith it would be £3M up front so it would all be about wheeling and dealing. Not the easiest thing to do. How would it not affect PSR, I believe all transfers do unless there are the complexities of selling academy players. | | | |
