I've always accessed this site by putting Planet Swans into Google.
In recent weeks I have been unable to access the site this way.

I’ve had this as well. What I’ve done is click the share button at the top by the web address when I’m on the forum home page, then saved it to the notes app on my iPhone. Now I just click on that, & it takes me straight to the forum homepage. Hope this helps |  | | |

Then go to “Fansnetwork”

There is a few things you can do .
Add a bookmark with a pc/laptop by pressing the star ⭐ on the search bar.
It will be in your bookmark list.
I noticed we have slipped down the search engine list a few places.
You could search
Swansea city independent jack butty
Then all the top searches are here 🫡 | |

It's like they've blocked the search, obviously there's ways around it but it is concerning, or at least I'd be concerned if I wanted ro attract as many viewers as possible.... |  |

Realise Planet Swans is a name of the past but that's what I always googled and it always brought up this site at the top.
This is no longer the case other than some old threads from this site further down the list.
I havnt been able to access for about 10 days .

Just followed your advice and that's the simple step I've been looking for being a bit of a tekky dummy.
I've now got back my regular access once again to this great site.

Typing in Swansea Independent does not bring up Fans Network.
Sorry dont mean to sound pedantic.
Just think the search engine optimisation needs to be looked at so as not to lose hits to this site.

This thread is kinda fascinating in a geeky way.
Firstly, I've messed up. It looks like I may have blocked Google from spidering the site. At the start of the month we were getting attacked from multiple IP addresses and it's not always clear what part of Google is looking at the site. At its height, IPs were looking at 10k pages an hour and it was killing the site. I had to stop that obviously but maybe I was a bit over zealous! I've now unblocked those IPs and hopefully the searches will return.
The site is no longer called Planet Swans so I wouldn't really expect that to bring up this site however.
We're all different in how we search. I need to access each team on here so I tend to use the address bar in Google Chrome and just start typing "swa"... and the various urls are suggested to me. Same with the QPR site "que"... and their site comes up. Much easier than actually searching. But yes, you absolutely should be able to search for "swansea independent" and this site should appear. Hopefully in the coming days that should work again. |  |

It may be of interest to you that if you search Swansea fans forum or Swansea message board on Google this site does not come up, other sites do. Possibly this is the search people put in if they do not know the site. |  | | |
