A bit late in the day, but today's theme is Blue, so plenty to choose from there. Here's my starter for ten - Moby and Into the Blue.

Anyone remember this shocker from 1982, by Clare Grogan of ‘Happy Brithday’ and Gregory’s Girl fame?

On that theme, I can recommend the film Song Sung Blue that’s out at the moment, it’s quite pleasant entertainment, base on a true story about a Neil Diamond tribute act.

That is truly terrible!

Let's redress the balance with this classic from ELO. I used to get laughed at for buying a triple cassette box set of ELO's greatest hits, until they had to begrudgingly admit they knew pretty much every track.

Not one of his best, but there should always be room for a little 'Bob'.

'A Complete Unknown' is another film well worth watching.

I'm giving you that one, because the album/ film is chock-full of classics. In a similar vein, Tom Waits, with a voice only a bottle of bourbon and 40 coffin nails a day can magically create, with Kentucky Avenue - from the album Blue Valentine.
