That's where our new ground will be.

There's one ground im just looking at and thats Grosvenor Vale in Ruislip, which is home to Wealdstone FC who play in the National League, the stadium currently holds 4000, but there are areas around it which make it a 10.40 acre site.

Surely we could form some kind of partnership with them, and build a new ground there, which both teams use.

Not sure if the Wealdstone raider would agree

10 acres site? “You've got no fans"!!!

“If you want some, I'll give it to ya"!

Poll: Isaac Hayden - Yes or No?

If we did have to move to the outskirts then this would be my preferred location. However I’d imagine it would be to Wealdstone’s detriment so I doubt they’d go along with it. Quite plausible that they could be playing in the league below us next season.

The other thing with Wealdstone is they are still scarred from the deal they did with Watford when they left their original Lower Mead ground in Harrow (loved going there to games) to ground share at Vicarage Road. Decades later they still don't have a permanent home.

Therefore the proposal is likely to go down like a lead balloon.

I wonder if RAF Northolt will come up as an option in the future?

The site is owned by the MOD, but they have mooted in the past that they might sell it to raise funds, so it could actually be an attractive option for the club.

Only nine miles from the current ground, think you're on to a winner here

Guess we will agree to disagree on that idea.

Maybe those Bulgarian alleged Russian spies have been keeping an eye on it, while they were in Northolt.

Lots of stations nearby, Ruislip Gardens tube and South Ruislip tube and rail within a mile, West Ruislip and Ruislip stations not far away either and plenty of pubs in the area.

My son plays for Wealdstone Youth and I would say this is an absolute non starter. There’s only one way in and out and the fields around the ground are used as playing fields on non match days. Even hosting the Wealdstone Youth tournament involved Marshall’s making sure traffic wasn’t blocking residential streets so 20k people turning up isn’t going to work. I would also imagine that Wealdstone have their own ambitions of expanding their ground and it’s slightly arrogant to just think we can just rock up and say thanks we’ll have this all the best.

Finally, and probably most importantly, it’s absolutely nowhere near W12.

Ark Burlington school at wood lane/du cane road, that’s a good size site near LR. Maybe swap LR and with some cash? Won’t hurt to try?

That could certainly be an option, but whether the School itself will move is another matter.

I'm sure someone mentioned that we'd enquired about that site before, it's owned and used by Latymer Upper School (based near Ravenscourt Park) who had no interest in selling it.

It would be perfect though.

Im sure we can do some kind of swap, so they get Loftus Road and we get the current site.

Like you say it would be perfect for us.
