True Pete; but I reckon HGPL becomes much more of a pin-sticking lottery when we have so many unpredicatable fixtures; such as when we include non-league and inter-divisional FA Cup ties.
When the majority are taken from (say) Division One; most players on this Board here have some reasonable idea of each team's relative ability, current form, recent tactics; goal scoring propensity; defensive characteristics; prevailing injuries, management status etc. rather than just eyeing up the tables. But when one's first reaction is "who?" (as in Macclesfield V Brackley Town) the HGPL player either has to do tedious research or perhaps pin-stick. I just feel it's a tad less skilful.
However; it is equally true to say that those fortunate enough to be able to follow the U's home and away (and hence be closer to Division One information) should equally not be in an over advantageous position compared to those located overseas.
In summary, I personally think we should limit fixtures to the Premier League and FL72. Although Happy Cup might mirror FA Cup. But including (say) Ryman Isthmian Football League South is just a lottery. | | | |

I don't believe these FA Cup fixtures are that impossible to suss. And no, we are not eliminating the FA Cup from the PL.
But just so I can be helpful, Brackley defeated Gillingham 1-0 in the replay after a 1-1 ... And it was Scunthorpe 1-2 Grimsby after a 0-0 on 9th November.
I hope with this insight you won't feel as much in the dark as things can be inferred, methinks. | |

by the way, Noah? with more points than anyone in the Happy Grumpy League, where do you come from to have an issue with the fixtures presented? given the format, I post 12 (over two weeks) and a guest presenter posts 10. That's already quite balanced and makes for a more interesting variable.
