Ipswich v Norwich thread 01:28 - May 9 with 1013 views | Barsidepete | You think a 12:15 kickoff is bad? How about 7:15 a.m. on the teley here, ouch. Just thinking out-loud. Perhaps I should link a poll, who do you want to win, because Tractor Boys or Canaries will be at Wembley. As the U's staved off relegation, not that bovvered. And the other poll suggests that we'd be ok with the Shrimpers coming up with as was said succinctly by Peter WK,.. "Southend. No point in having local rivals if you can't play against them." My feeling is, I'd like either Nodge or Ippy go up, either is fine if not Brentford, because it makes the Premier more interesting, given that we get every single game. And otherwise, I find most offerings on tv really boring options except for Spurs. Well, Bournemouth. That will be interesting

Ipswich v Norwich thread on 09:06 - May 9 with 987 views | noah4x4 | Nooooooo! The last thing we want is an Ipswich FC promotion. The U's award winning efforts to encourage youngsters is starting to have positive results. The U's miraculous survival has created an uplift in the town beyond belief. There is now a new generation of Colchester youth that respect their local club, but will fast migrate to Ipswich if its tastes success in the next fortnight. Come on you budgies! Then let's see Middlesbrough go up in the final. I like the thought of the U's having derbies against Ippy, Nodge and Brentford in 2016-17, or am I beginning to sound too much like Durham Exile? Noah - as someone who loathes Ipswich, barely tolerates Norwich and simply cannot see Brentford running around Wembley with the Shield, my money is on the Smog Monsters. Boro were less than impressive last night but did enough to secure a valuable lead. Personally though I can't wait for the League One fixtures to be published and start to plan my away days! Up the U's PS Can we have Elliott Hewitt back please!
