This competition is going back to its original format of being just a knockout one. Replays will also return for drawn games. The tie-breaker rule will apply for any replays. Each round will take place at the same time as the FA Cup, and will contain 10 fixtures from that competition. Any replays will be 10 matches from the following Saturday's League games.
We currently have 28 members, when 32 would be ideal for a knockout competition. So to get the numbers down to 16 for the 2nd Round I have decided the fairest way (rather than have byes) to achieve this is to have a straight knockout of 8 games of 2 members, and 4 games of 3 members, with the two highest scorers going through to the next round.
