But we did see his respect for fans at Barrow. Never in all my years of following the U's had I seen a player come over and properly thanks the supporters like he did.

Sadly, one season to many for Charlie, got done with deep far post crosses to often, and struggled in retaining position when up field.
Played his best football elsewhere and at a decent level, best wishes to him on his future career.

Wonder if it came from us or him?
Good luck for the future Charlie but sadly got caught out to often and if Clampin hadn't been injured doubt he would have played as often as he did
