Well done to Madeira163 for being the only one to have this spot-on, and only NME_cufc get the outcome. 21 predicted a win for MK Dons. The final fixtures of 2025, and what an incredible end to the year. The evening didn't start great, with our friends up the road ensuring nobody got any points from that early start, and then the first-half of the other nine games hardly produced a goal between them, that is normal these days. On to the second-half, and what an incredible one it was. We end with five away wins, with all the home teams failing to score, and four home wins all finishing 2-1, giving us an amazing 40 spot-ons in total. With only 54 outcomes in total, it was almost as easy to get a 3 pointer as it was an outcome, and that is reflected in the weeks top scores. Even though the 1-0 has usually been top result for a home, the 2-1 has become more popular, and rewarded those who go for that in a big way this week. Going 2-1 all games got durham_exile and burnsieespana a brilliant 12 points each, but by going 2-1 all games, except for 1-2 the Cheltenham v Swindon game, got RSCOSWORTH a masterly 13 points, to make him the weeks top scorer. A brilliant 12 points also for gerry_us, who had the wins for Millwall, Wrexham, Barnet and Swindon spot-on, and basher2010, who got the wins for Leicester, Millwall, Cardiff and Swindon spot-on. The only one to have three 3 pointers was Sector4, who got wins for Millwall, Cardiff and Swindon, to give him an excellent 9 points. Three members got two 3 pointers, with the best coming from concordman, who had the 2-1 wins for Wrexham and Cardiff, and Tropical_Us, who got the 2-1 wins for Leicester and Wrexham. They each also had two outcomes, to give them both a decent 8 points. Happy Cup All the details for the Quarter-finals are now available on the separate Happy Cup thread. U'sual Champions League After today's results we finally know who this seasons 12 qualifiers are. The current holder Sector4 qualifies automatically. The other 11 are the top points scorers over the two divisions. They are:- noah4x4, concordman, Jorash63, durham_exile RIP, thrillseeker, ghughes11, Tropical_Us, gerry_us, blueeagle, basher2010 and mfb_cufc. With the new format in the UEFA Champions League, the Round of 16 starts later on Tuesday 10th March. This competition will start on that date, and all details will be on a separate thread towards the end of February. In the Premier The decent week for concordman made sure of him taking his run at the top to ten weeks. The excellent week for Sector4 moved him up place, and back into the second spot he last held in Week 12. That means the six week run in the runner-up spot comes to an end for Jorash63, and he drops to third despite a decent week. A decent week for thrillseeker, that included having the wins for Wrexham and Swindon spot-on, moves him up a place to fourth. Having the Leicester 2-1 spot-on moved ghughes11 up a place to fifth. Another to get that Leicester win spot-on was mfb_cufc, and he moves up a place. The top scoring performance from RSCOSWORTH has put the cat amongst the pigeons at the bottom. Even though he remains in the relegation zone, he is now only a point from safety, and with only 13 points separating 2nd to 10th, it is certainly all to play for in this division. A special mention for Lewis_1. He got his best score this season, with a decent 8 points, after having the Swindon 2-0 spot-on, and five good outcomes, but his task for survival has not been made any easier. In Division One A decent week for noah4x4 that included having the Leicester 2-1 spot-on, has maintained his clear lead, and given him the satisfaction of having more spot-ons and outcomes than anyone in both leagues. The brilliant week for durham_exile, has moved him up a place into the other automatic spot. A position he last held in Week 8. A decent week for Tropical_Us couldn't stop him dropping a place to third. The brilliant weeks for gerry_us and basher2010 moved them both up a place to fourth and fifth. Three outcomes for Blue4U2 was enough for him to take the final play-off place. A decent week for oxfcolu that included getting the Leicester 2-1 spot-on, moved him up a place to seventh.
