He did, and like this, that provoked outrage amongst many supporters too.
On the other hand, we didn't provide him full access to the entire stadium for a variety of photo-op marketing opportunities, nor a bunch of "Farage No. 10" first team shirts which by any measure should be considered as a political endorsement - and certainly have been used as such.
The Farmers have made things worse by putting out a grovelling statement on Tw@tter that's backfired. Some of the replies are priceless.

Why would any club allow this for any political party, you're always going to piss off a certain percentage of your fan base. Why wouldn't you just stay neutral?

It’s been rumoured that, with the Tractorshaggers having no game this weekend, Poorman Road was going to be the venue for a Mascot Race, I’m not sure if it’s true, but I am told that this has been cancelled because the owners will only allow an Aryan Race.
A mate of mine just called to say he’s seen a film crew outside Poorman Road. Apparently they are making a modern day version of that Alexandre Dumas classic the Count of Monte Cristo.
