90 min header could put U’s down and keep Town up. Could put Dale down and keep Town up, save U’s blushes. OG could put Town down and keep U’s up. Could put Dale and U’s down .
Scenario’s which may never happen, it’s football, only Thrillseeking .

Love the scenario you offer but for some weird reason I feel we will be safe from relegation by mid April.

Going through the motions, final day would be most welcome 🤗, without worrying what happens elsewhere TS . ( But just in case you read it here first ! ).

It’s rumoured U’s to issue two seats for the final game one in South stand and it’s opposite in the North. Visitors to be housed in East stand. So a mass migration will take place at half time ( just like the Layer Rd days ) so all supporters can get behind the U’s whatever end the team is kicking, to cheer the U’s in final fixture victory.

Unless the toss takes place well in advance of kick off there’s no guarantee we’ll be attacking the right end in the first half. The potential for a shambles appears quite significant.

I thought this was a great idea when I first read it!

Actually if they leave the North stand empty, and the U’s are kicking in that direction ( like last Saturday ), come the final fixture in the second half, why cannot they invite anyone from the South Stand to migrate to the opposite end at half time . It could be the difference .

Nice idea in principle, but I can imagine the chaos it would cause with half the South Stand trying to relocate to the North Stand in 15 minutes of half-time. Even if they could, assuming Mansfield still have something to play for, I expect they'll want the North Stand.

If we are relegated by then, few will turn up, so the said plan won’t be difficult to execute.
We are entering the most important two weeks in the last decade, and still Humes and his cronies are running the back office show. Last six games, Hartlepool 8 points, U’s only three. Continue this form and we are gone. Robbie needs to take decisive action, give Garner 100% control, else he will be the next scapegoat for this unmitigated disaster.

I don't understand why people continue to think that Humes has any involvement in the first team. Is there actually any evidence of this? We performed well for three out of four seasons under McGreal and Humes was still here then. This team, and that of the most recent seasons, is nothing like a Humes team. Like you, I'm really concerned that we're in big trouble now. Crawley and Hartlepool both have momentum and confidence and we have neither of those right now. If we do go down I will be laying the blame firmly at the feet of the players who have underperformed week after week.

I am with RSC on this
I am not convinced Humes has as much influence as is suggested
I 100% blame the players who have underperformed together with various management teams that seem intent on playing a square peg in a round hole scenario
Even the current manager seems intent on not playing a settled starting XI and is constantly tinkering with starting line ups/ formations.
A few weeks ago I was 100% sure we would stay up but now I am really concerned and feel it is 50/50 especially as Crawley & Hartlepool seem to have found some decent form recently.
I can see us getting a draw at Stevenage but 3 points against Crewe is a MUST
I really don't want it to come down to a final day shoot out
