We have to replace Burgess in the summer
at 22:11 13 Mar 2026

We have problems at both ends, Key and then Burgess were hopeless for the first goal. Burgess had to stand up and shepherd the ball towards the goal line, Key failed to get tight to the man closet to goal and wandered out to the wing where Ronald should have been heading.
Our attacking play lacks energy as ever.

Budget Speculation - Part Deux 2025
at 19:40 13 Mar 2026

The policies that they have introduced put people off from starting a business, we are closing down businesses with a reduced chance of replacing them.

They don't seem to understand that the private sector pays for everything, they are going to find out soon!

We are going to have to reverse the impact on small businesses sooner or later, it's economic suicide.

There's a whole load of ignorant preachers on the left who don't understand how the country's economy is structured. People running small businesses are not greedy bar stewards making millions. The average annual profit is £13,000 for a small business and Reeves has attacked them on four fronts simultaneously.

Torsten Bell, the class war donkey, wrote in the Resolution Foundation strategy for 2030 that the hospitality industry could withstand higher taxes as the middle classes would be happy to pay more.

You couldn't make this stuff up, it's so far wide of the mark. Our economy has stalled and it's now going to get worse with less flexibility for small businesses. It's just utter crap.

It's about thus time of the year that the results start to become even less predictable than usual. Teams at the top start to get nervous, teams at the bottom start to fight even harder and there's usually an opportunity for a decent side in the top half to push through to the play offs. Let's hope that team is us.
We've a week off before Fat Frank comes to town, let's hope we can out play a rather direct Wrexham.

Well stuffing small businesses went well. Growth stalled, before the war effects kick in.

60 percent of private sector, the bit that pays for the public sector, employees work.in small businesses. The average small business makes a £13,000 profit.

So what does the idiot do, stuffs them with NI increased, minimum wage increases, rate increases and employer legislation at the same time

There is another U Turn required but it won't happen until it's too late.

I'd leave at least one up, when balls are cleared after a corner, you have some chance of getting it back.

Win this and we are two points off the play offs, in with a chance. Lose it and we are 8 points off the play offs with 8 games left.

This one is important because of the above.

Mandelson's £75,000 Payoff
at 15:49 11 Mar 2026

So for gross misconduct, lying through your teeth when applying for a top diplomatic position you get £75,000.

It's been a while, but I've sacked a few people for lying on their job application form from jobs relying on being trustworthy.

Paying people for gross misconduct was never even considered.

One rule for them, one rule for us.

Yes, guy assaults people at work, police send the victims an email. A quick bit of research would have found the background to the killer.

We have lazy unprofessional people all over this country.

It is possible for convicted terrorists to stand for public office. You can lobby against this here. Makes sense to me.

He's been here since 24th of November, things have improved despite the fact that we have a number of inexperienced players and Matos is also inexperienced in the Championship. His focus seems to be keep improving, he's making good progress.
