It would help if the poster had an opinion on some of the 110 other wars going on in the World, rather than keep posting the same stuff about one conflict!

Having worked in both private and public sectors, I'd say the biggest issue is one of performance, in the private sector if you don't make your objectives you are out. In the public sector there is a lot less pressure to get things done, it drove me nuts.
There are arguements about the quality of objectives in the private sector but the biggest difference I could see was the attitude to performance.
Things are a bit different at the coal face of service delivery in the public sector with well intentioned front line staff being completely let down by layers of management often with no front line experience.

No protest about China and it's treatment of millions of uyghers, no protests about Russia invading Ukraine, no protests about the attacks in Nigeria, no protest about the war in Sudan, no protests about the war in the DRC, no protests about the war in Yemen, no protests about the war Somalia, no protests about Myanmar, Niger, Mali, Bukina Faso, Ethiopia, Haiti etc.

You can only ask why one particular conflict has raised so much attention whilst other wars such as the one in the one in DRC has accounted for millions of lives?

We must be less tolerant of intolerance, we have marches every week calling for globalisation of the intifada and our weak government stands by.

The other question, with antisemitism up 700 percent in Australia, particularly in Sydney and Melbourne, why was there no armed police presence at this event?

Journalism, academia, civil service, NHS all have seen increases in political activism, it's incredible.

I fear it's too late, alongside the weak politicians we have Universities full of people who can't tell the difference between terrorism and terrapins and whole load of dull idiots online posting anything that will get them attention regardless of the content. Then there are the political activists who will tell you elephants live underwater because they read it on the internet.

SMH carrying footage of a man in a t-shirt wrestling the gun off an attacker, there are some very brave people about.

First half felt a bit frantic, we had individuals trying to press on their own! Second half we pushed up.a bit and were better organised when closing them down. We got better going forward as the game went on.
