Totally agree.maybe once or twice a game he does a pass where I think..Wow.
problem is we need a holloway type midfielder close space not another Madsen.
Maybe he can do both.

Problem is I don't really believe your opinion.Goal keeping coaches with considered opinion better than yours must rate him.
I don't want to be insulting but the players read these columns and you can imagine the effect this sort of opinion can have on a young player.
The answer is to have competition for the position.We have tried that so the only answer is to buy a good keeper.Players want to play so plenty in the premiership reserves. |

Is it me or does Kone always flick the ball into the air with his first touch?
Does this give defenders time to tackle/close him down.He is better with a he ball on the ground.
Any thoughts as it has begun to irritate my son? [Post edited 23 Feb 18:40]

Yes strange in that it didn’t feel like they had so much more possession.Almost 50-50, actually the comments around me was how good our defensive shape was.For the people who are keen on these things .The first rule is to stop a ‘vertical ‘ pass up the pitch .Apparently we did that well.Yes they got through the first/second line a few times-but basically didn’t really have a clear cut chance from open play.
Their goal came from ,I would suggest,analysis of Edwards.They overloaded the back post 2v1 ,Edwards can only mark one .Their goal came other arrived late.Classic second half instruction.,getting an early goal. |

I think he is our best player.watching him week in week out you begin to notice the small things.The amount of ball winning he does.He reads the game well.Quite a number of last ditch tackles.He has the most assists in the club.Good decision making on the ball -I rate him slightly higher than Chair.
The point about Bannin is a good one though-so needs to improve!!! |

Basically agree.Mbenge is Mbenge and gives lots of positives to the team.
Players need support now.Kone did well ,Madsen ,Cook,RND,Vale, carried the team.Forwards were ok,I love when the youngsters are played.Not the best from Morgan,but the we HAVE to play a them.
This team is potentially top half championship definitely
As fans no over-reaction Stéphan has a hard job in the next few months |

Disagree his analysis of the game was spot on to me.Rangers edged the game till the last ten minutes in a tight game.Wrexham have a way of playing when a goal behind in the last few minutes .Everyone forward in a game of dare.It meant they controlled possession he edge of the box .We had ten men-spaces opened up.
They executed it well, they have spent well.But do not over react.
Injuries are the issue really….. |

No-but you have to get it right little by little as a few poor games and young lads can go backwards quickly.
Having said that both are pretty strong characters-Morgan impressed me after those mistakes against Norwich-just kept on asking for the ball…..
Both knocking on the door.
Given the last 10 years ,bar Ebere,very encouraging times.Our scouts got Morgan right,and Ryan self -belief is important.
I find myself ,as I get older really wanting them to do well.Nothing better than a young kid coming through.I remember Les arriving.Couldn’t trap a ball-it use to bounce off him.Then 5 years later England centre forward. |

Helpful.One game after a few decent performances against a premiership standard winger.Games like that happen-the real test is the next five games.I hope he is brilliant for the next 5 and stuffs your option right back down your throat.
Nobody is fantastic overnight what we want is gradual incremental improvement.He has shown that in the championship games.An emotional angry outburst from fans only does harm.
I get it you do not rate him but Ashby knows he was t fault.He knows he has 10-15 games to save his career in football.Would you like that level of pressure.What exactly gives you the right to say that? |

Yes I was thinking that.I would prefer Marti to tell them to simply ply they have for the last three games.Just try it and see what Leicester react.They my put out a second string team.un rehearsed not used to each other. |
