I worry that criticising high earners will get us nowhere.It is a delicate balancing act.Income tax is so bias against high earners that the top 10% of earners pay something like 60-70% of all income tax.When the revolut bank founder left for Dubai recently his tax bill was the equivalent of 50,000 median earners.
This is serious as if the international money markets stop lending to the uk as we are considered a bad risk then the actual vulnerable -the disabled and fragile old will be left to suffer while the haters of the rich are demonstrating in the streets.
The secret is to sort it before the crunch.Yes perhaps tax the rich a little more,pay for the NHS later like they do in some European countries by direct health insurance with the state,but do not hate them and spit envy bile.I suspect you would have to live a thousand lifetimes to match what Radcliffe has paid in tax to the UK.
Encourage , have a system with incentives.I am old now and have seen socialism go to far again and again in the name of doing good.It always ends in the same anger filled hateful way when the money runs out.You have to earn the money first then perhaps you can help the poor-don’t end up taking money off the almost poor to help the undeserving. As I said very divided.Reflex racism heckle.Sad thing is I actually think you believe I am.
I was simply suggesting there are some perfectly legitimate criticisms of Islam as there is Christianity.Does that make me a racist? The reason I mentioned the former is that I believe it could become a serious threat to a tolerant society.
Reflex hatred of rich entrepreneurs will not make anything better either |

Met him about two years ago.Came across as very thoughtful.I think he is proud of the country ,isn’t what I would call racist in any way.I sensed he could be quite hardline but he is a business man and economics makes people a bit more forthright as they have to be,and I find that realistically hard to criticise.
Very very split country.Those who think it is right to call out what they see as racist and those genuinely fearing for the economic survival of the country and its very ancient laws and morality in the face of an uncompromising Muslim culture that cannot criticise its own worst acts and view any outside criticism as anti-Muslim. |

Agree,but thought last night was very very good bar scoring.lessons learnt
1.start with strongest eleven against top 10 , esp Burrell
2.Cannot tell yet if rotation is saving our team from getting injuries
3.Need coaching to beat a low block( Kone will be useful against this type of team)
4.Cannot rely on Kone for pace -ever I think we need another striker but that is asking too much.
5.Julian is correct in two players for each position and he is a fantastic manager .Marti who? |

Yes,just think if he wasn’t playing -cannot see many winning the headers he does.
I felt slightly guilty voting for Madsen for player of the season with Dunne being so important.
Replaced cook as the essential defender.
Bolton’s main strength was in the air stuff, both defensively and in attack.Dunne as always didn’t give an inch
Even enjoyed the attempted Cryuff turn against the touch line late on. |

Ok right do it as well , but rarely as the right doesn’t generally claim moral superiority.
They tend to emphasis making money, as in all very well wanting more prisons but who will pay for it. |

Yes I understand scientific method based on evidence is not definitive forever.It is however the best explanation,ie better than others at this date. |

There is an attempt here to make him out as violent, referencing a Times article.
Simply pointing out it says no violence occurred.

Typical.You are not quite telling the truth.
It was a domestic where she pretends to call the police, rings 999 puts the phone down.Now police are duty bound to trace all 999 calls and visit address.Go to address she explains it is a domestic with no violence.Please say that doesnt matter he must go down to station for 5 hours under new guidelines.After 2 hours he says can I go now -police say only if you accept a caution.He does just to go home.

I tended to agree to most of his political arguments.His arguments on woke ranging from teaching Māori universe creation theory being equal to scientific ‘western’ science to transgender insistent that an individual can insist in going into a female changing room instantly causing fear and doubt for a larger number of women in using the the changing rooms ever again.
Evidence of punching his pregnant wife in the stomach please.
It is just the left use this style of criticism to cancel people .

problem is we need a holloway type midfielder close space not another Madsen.

Problem is I don't really believe your opinion.Goal keeping coaches with considered opinion better than yours must rate him.
I don't want to be insulting but the players read these columns and you can imagine the effect this sort of opinion can have on a young player.
The answer is to have competition for the position.We have tried that so the only answer is to buy a good keeper.Players want to play so plenty in the premiership reserves. |

Is it me or does Kone always flick the ball into the air with his first touch?
Does this give defenders time to tackle/close him down.He is better with a he ball on the ground.
