All teams have injuries, but other squads are deeper. We have a great 13/14, but lose 5 and we're stuffed. |

These injuries have killed the season. However, it does highlight how badly we need a big sale ASAP so we can increase the depth of the squad. The harsh truth is that Morrison, Kolli, Lloyd are not good enough and we are very thin in the CM area. Also concerning is that Charles and Kamara are loans and the squad looks very thin again. I've got a horrible feeling JS will walk at the end of season as he's doing his job with both hands tied behind his back. |

I watched him last season at Hampton against Eastleigh and to be honest he struggled with the physicality. |

Just out of curiosity, if Kolli and Lloyd didn't play for QPR who thinks the club would go out and try to sign either of them? I'd say a big fat zero chance we would for either of them. |

If someone had told me it wouldn't be until mid-October, before we got a first thumping, I'd have bitten their hand off. It was a really bad day at the office, and we should all be pretty relaxed as it happens. We desperately need Burrell and Kone to be back firing as we are toothless up top. I like Lloyd, but he is an impact sub at best. As for Kolli..... not a Championship level.player and cost us the game. This result might not be a bad thing. Helps the players reset and shows what happens when standards drop. |

I've got a feeling this will be a game to far. End of a 3 game week with a day less recovery and Birmingham looking pretty good. We're down to the bare bones and our attack, despite the Derby game, is pretty toothless. I'll be delighted with a boring 0-0, but have a suspicion we'll lose 2-0. |

I'm not sure people were disappointed with the performance against Derby, I think Derby were so awful we never really got out of 2nd gear. I said at the time it said more about them than us. Whatever happens tomorrow JS have given us something to follow and be proud of. |

Not been his biggest fan but got to tip my hat to him. His work rate was never in doubt but the final ball/decision making has been poor. He looks a lot more direct and its probably helping that JS wants his players to be quick and aggressive. I love his defensive work, what a pain in the arse he is. However, I really think everyone should look at the coach. JS is making average players good. That is the sign if a top top coach. |

Stupid question, but if you allow a owner to spend what they want where does responsibility lie for paying players wages should a owner go bankrupt? Would that not be the club? |

Thought Kolli was pretty anonymous most of the game and looking across at JS he didn't seem overly pleased with some of Kollis pressing. Lloyd was OK. Good to get a goal. Need Burrell and Kone back firing. |

On the way home. Biggest win at home for a while, but the flattest atmosphere all game. Weird. Probably due to Derby shithousing from the first minute and the broken play. Probably our least impressive performance of the season, but it says more about the dog shyte opposition than us. Mbengue injury looked really bad and Smyth was hobbling down the tunnel when subbed. Down to the bare bones now. |
 | Forum Reply | Bowen's tackle before the goal - good tackle or should have been called? at 13:22 12 Oct 2026
Vale has created the second most chances in the Championship before the international break. He does a lot of work off the ball blocking the passing lines etc that can't be seen on TV. Also, he is not a winger, much better playing off Kone in the 10 or the 8, which he was doing at the beginning of the season. |

The reason the medical team call the shots on this sort of thing can be summed up in three words - Beale and Willock. Thank God we have a coach intelligent and mature enough to accept it. |

West Ham, the definition of a one man team. Stop Bowen, you stop them, and Kemper absolutely did that. We have a proper LB, can see Cirkin being moved into LW. I thought the midfield was fantastic and Madsen was so impressive doing things mostly unnoticed. Now beat Derby with their inevitable low block. |

FFS. Smyth had clearly taken a knock and was hobbling when taken off. I'm amazed with your inside medical knowledge of Smyths injury that he could have stayed on. Kemper has not played for 2 months and with Cirkin suspended we need a LB. Not like the old days when proper men played 50 games in a season blah blah blah. |

First rule about loan players? Never fall in love with loan players. |

The Walking Dead take a very well-deserved, and unexpected for most on here, point. As for Wham, they spend all that money and are still shyte. Fck Bowen. |
