Turning a reasonably quick profit on a player is great, however good he is playing we should do it. What comes next is using it to turn 3 profits on 3 players with the proceeds.
Yeah local journo - Hounslow Herald, looks like it came from the standard pre-match press conference so would have been JS's words. Will hold him too it, no excuses not to field our best 11 senior players.
Well yeah, our fit strikers are Kone, Kolli and Frey. Kolli has had his share of injury issues and Frey is definitely out of contention now. So it stands to reason he will! I don't think Kolli will manage 90 on Sunday, he was struggling with his fitness by the end last Sunday. Bennie has form against this opposition anyway...
Managed to get to West Brom away and the Sheffield Wednesday home game over Christmas and New Year from Barcelona, will be back for Sheff U at home too and Wembley in May (FA Cup Final or Playoffs, either is fine)
The main thing here is what is happening at Strasbourg, quite frankly disgusting. A proud old club being forced to be Chelsea's feeder club. Should be a warning that it could happen to any of us and as ever, a reminder that our CEO ran a company that advised on these multi-club ownership deals
Assuming injuries to all the players rumoured, I'd be going
Nardi Mbengue Dunne Cook RND Madsen Field Saito Dembele Kolli Kone
As strong as possible, don't think RND will be asked to sit out unless Sheff U really want to recall him to play third fiddle to Burrows and McCallum. A strong and organised team who know each other well against whatever bunch of players West Ham cobble together could be massive. Perfect game for a 25 minute Smyth cameo too (just please, Julien, never start him, it doesn't work). Plus the energy off the bench of Morgan, the know-how of Hayden. We have a huge chance here, let's not blow it.
West Ham fan I know when I asked him about the chances of playing the U21s, he said he hopes so as they are better than the first team. Lets see. Could be a new manager bounce for them by Sunday anyway!
