We must be patient and wish him well. Who knows? We could emulate Sunderland. But, if there is a concern, it is not about formations and tactics, per se. It is about how soon he can adapt to the 46-league match season (plus cups...yes, I know); the times when we play three games in eight days and how he will cope in weeks when the team could spend more time on the bus than on the training ground. |

Scored a lovely goal at WBA, too - from a long pass from Barbet. |

I know next to nothing about employment law, but, if the club was having difficulty breaking its contract with Cifuentes, it surely could not talk openly about the person that was going to succeed him - even if rumours about the successor were rife. Putting aside the possibility that they messed up the relationship with Cifuentes and how cross that might make the fans, we have no option but to be patient. If anyone needs help with that, then the new contracts for Sam Field and Jimmy Dunne are a good signal, are they not? |

Could the promise of a nice cup of coffee perhaps bring to an end the uncertainty surrounding the manager/coach? |

Yes. I was also in the loft when Bowles scored against Leeds. So, I saw him score? Well, not exactly. I saw him approaching the goal and it seemed likely that he would score, but when he got closer, I could no longer see him, because of the crowd. What a moment, though. That was the last game and in the lengthy run-in in 1976, we had to win every week to keep up with Liverpool. I was not at Norwich, but that defeat really hurt. So did Liverpool's late goals at Wolves - deeply. |

If I were Charlie Kelman, before making any commitment, I would want to know how QPR is to be run in 2025-2026 and by whom. |

Agreed. If the brief highlights are anything to go by. it looked an exciting game and Uncle Albert was brilliant. |

I - and no doubt, loads of others - can feel everything that you described, Ted. All the best! |

I read it and it confirmed my suspicions - this is a world that I no longer understand. |

So true, 2008. It's a bit radical, but, maybe one way to bring this wretched behaviour into disrepute and perhaps achieve a change in the laws, is for the fans of the offending team also to signal their disgust. To put it simply, if we think a QPR player is feigning injury to waste time, we boo or slow handclap. OK, I know how unlikely that is. |
