Stephan has looked and sounded like a doomed man with no clue. Rather like Ainsworth was for several months. Its more difficult to get the right balance in a manager, as compared to thirty years ago, where managers had a predominantly British squad of players, so the style of motivation was a usual rocket up the backside in those days, fifteen years ago, some players would react better to the father figure and arm around the shoulder. But today, with players from different backgrounds and cultures and from various areas around the globe, its very varied whats the best way to motivate individual players. But yes clearly the man manager is key. |

The first half, all the fans are still waking up, but also most of the players too. Found the 4.30pm start on a Sunday, troubling also. The next travesty, we may all well have to deal with, very soon is VAR.... [Post edited 14 Mar 0:15]

If he starts picking winning ones that dont get injured, then all well and good. If he doesnt , then......... |

Well indeed. But also our previous DoF, was the right age, steeped in QPR folklore, a football man, and kept a lot of other QPR men, and football men in post also, but according to many on here too, went from Sir Les to Evil Les. At the time, i found those that were so disrespectful to a QPR legend, who was a decent DoF for me, well all those that called for the demise of "Evil" Les, the club listened to you, and you helped with the club taking this complete change around. i hated the "Evil" Les thing at the time, but those that started all that, you got a change all right. |

Thing is Brian as we know a few of the players bet on our football games as well. High profile ones recently being Ivan Toney and of course, persistent offender - one Joseph Barton. Its quite easy to bet against QPR and as Clive highlighted more than probable, you could make a few pennies. |

Strangely not done that one myself.... Surprisingly, I am not a wealthy man !!!! Probably a decent wager , would be for QPR to finish in the bottom half though of the championship every season. There would be the printing of sterling there and then. [Post edited 12 Mar 20:50]

With 80 to 1 being touted for our relegation this season, seems generous, anyone bet on us to lose or for a negative outcome, and our failure has put a few pennies in your account..... [Post edited 13 Mar 8:54]

If we had some gold, at least we could buy better players in the summer Spaceman... Regarding getting down about watching cr*p football. Currently its only a poor run of defeats. The Ainsworth era was far worse and over a much longer period. To be honest, like some others, am more bothered about our future direction under the hierarchy, and yes the players playing at the moment should be doung better, but its the same injury issues happening time and time again and the fact the people responsible for this, will keep their jobs, no matter what. The club should be talking about this and there is great anger about being told nothing about the injured players and their progress or not. Its unacceptable we are told nothing or are simply lied to. The performances could be better, of course but its the behind the scenes lies that wind me up. Just tell us the truth But remember Nourry was big on fan engagement, whatever he thinks that means - its not happening |

Five home games Portsmouth Watford Bristol City Swansea Derby Pompey fighting relegation, but likely to survive. The other four mid table, unlikely to be in the play offs. If you could hand pick five home games at the end of the season. Pretty much these five teams would make the list. |

My clumsy fingers had pressed to remove the thread from my feed, which I was unaware of. Was questioning the meaning of life last night and was wondering when the whole site was going to be removed, so that the mental state of our fans could be protected. But no, was Numpty pressing the wrong button !!!!!!!!!!! [Post edited 12 Mar 9:46]

 | Forum Reply | How many more points will we get this season? at 09:35 12 Mar 2026
Nine games - four points We will have some other players back for some games, I hope. If we get less than four and go down, the club will be a laughing stock. The only advantage that would bring is Nourry and Williams and our Methodology teams will be out the door surely.... The fans will vote with their feet, if that's not the case. These nine games are MASSIVE for the club. [Post edited 12 Mar 9:35]

Jimmy has been average this season. Not the player he was from last season. Whether its the captaincy taking away some focus or whether he performs better in the right back role but he is another one that is playing every single game and most minutes, needs a break himself tbf. |

Stephan keeps on mentioning we need four points to avoid being relegated. I can't see how focusing on such a negative constantly and from the way he is talking, he honestly feels we won't get these four points. He said we have another tough game on Saturday. We'll, its a team in the bottom three, that we battered not that long ago. I appreciate the injury situation is beyond ridiculous now, but focusing so much on these four points is not helpful. However, to be honest, this is on the players out there. Recently they have been pathetic. Amongst the worst we have seen. Appreciate we can lose a lot with so many key players out, but inhonestly think most of these players couldn't give a flying f**k at the moment. Dunne saying lack of clear instructions. That's PATHETIC. These guys are elite professional footballers on thousand of pounds a week. He is the captain. He is meant to have some idea of how to motivate the players himself. But really tbh players on this kind of money, what extra motivation do you need. Stephan doesnt want to be here now. That's clear. He will be moved on soon if we lose another couple in a row. But the players are simply not trying. They all have qualities but they clearly dont want Stephan now. They are playing purposely poorly for me , to get rid of him. Whether, he should go or not is open for debate. But this performance in particular is TOTALLY on the players. They better start f**k*ng put some effort in. The people who turn up pay their extortionate wages. Do it for them. But they won't. Some characters showing extremely poor personality. This is bad.... |
