He's been pretty S**t recently, he looks half asleep at the best of times, seems to be slow to react if at all. His distribution is terrible - why kick a high ball when it is windy? at the Burnley game he always let the ball drop to the floor rather than hold it. Basic FA Goalkeeping says catch the ball & hold it close to your chest so it can be knocked out of your hands. Time to get rid & give Smithies a chance he can't be any worse. It's all been said on this thread and surely even Bluce Ree cannot defend that display tonight?
Green has NEVER been a top level keeper for me. He just hasn't ever had the concentration levels top keepers need. He's fine if he's involved every 6 or 7 minutes but even then he's prone to pulling on the marigolds and wearing a big pair of Its a Knockout foam boots.
If anyone needs an extra dummy for their training ground dummy then I'd let him go ASAP

Sorry to disagree ...Rob Green has saved us more often than he has had cock ups. Unlike outfield players any mistake by a goalie is magnified 10 times. Im not blaming him tonight for the second,he was unsighted and the ball swerved all over the place and skidded off the turf. Olly backed him as well on tv.I accept his kicking isn't great but that's not his main job.
