Let's at least thank Dryworld for their role in bringing silverware back to Loftus Road. Who can forget that memorable win over Watford in the Dryworld Cup final, the culmination of a magnificent tournament featuring the very best teams associated with Dryworld — both Watford and QPR. And no one is really getting defensive about it either.
All we asked was that you explain why you could assure us it would be a terrible deal. That's it.
Citing some figures of what they're paying Ethiopia, doesn't really cut it. Nor would their deal with Rochdale either. Or Blackpool. how are they comparable with a Championship team on TV as much as we are, not just here but around the world, and (don't laugh) with the chance to play in the Prem?
But I get it - you think it's a bad deal. You might be right. but to be honest, I didn't start loving football because I cared about how much money the club made from bloody kit deals. | |
