A genetic experiment using DNA from Monster Magnet and Fu Manchu...and it worked! It's alive!
"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."

I bought the album this is on a few months ago and just listened to this track for the first time in a while. My word, it is decent!
Jim Matheos, who wrote it, is nowhere near being the best guitarist in the world, but I genuinely think he is one of the most accomplished song writers of all time. He blends together so many different elements. You think you know where the track is going, then it takes off abruptly in another direction.

This riff is one of my favourite Slayer riffs.

Minutes seem like days as fire ruled the sky, the rich became the beggars, the poor became the wise....
This line / accompanying riff is always stuck in my head. Possible unpopular opinion, but I think it is the best slayer album. I think as it is was the first one I ever heard. We used to have this old dictaphone we played tapes on when we went skating. My mate bought this album along one day and was a total game changer.

Seems appropriate. My new one arrives on monday I can't wait.
This band are great. They are from France and do a lot of excellent thrash/death melodic instrumentals if you are unfamiliar with them.

New Maiden album is quality. Strong Brave New World vibes - in my opinion their best album since then. Let me know what you think.
RE: Slayer - if we're talking about unpopular opinions, my favourite album is Divine Intervention... sacrilege, I know, to choose one without Dave Lombardo on drums, but it just struck a note with me. Seasons in the Abyss 2nd, RIB 3rd...
