Great news didn’t think Steven. Wilson would do it After the response to his last album I think he had to do it I was at P T last concert at the Albert Hall Looking forward to a tour later this year
My new favourite band is The War on Drugs they have been around for a while
Bit late to this but can't wait for the album, got tickets to see them in Berlin, first tour date I think. Going to be amazing.

They have moved on a bit from the days when they played places like The Trout in Windsor!
I'm not a massive Marillion fan but their latest tune is pretty impressive:
"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."

Mesmerising chords at the start of this, then it all kicks off. Look out for a very unexpected solo near the end. Top notch stuff in my humble opinion

" He was shot in the face, head, stomach, ankle, leg, hip, and ear; was blinded in his left eye; survived two plane crashes; tunnelled out of a prisoner-of-war camp; and tore off his own fingers when a doctor declined to amputate them. Describing his experiences in the First World War, he wrote, "Frankly I had enjoyed the war."
Dr Mark Felton's book on the WW2 Italian escape is amazing in itself.

Arch Enemy at their finest.
If you're into your female fronted Welsh psychedelic stoner doom bands like I am, then you'll be pleased to hear Mammoth Weed Wizard Bastard (now calling themselves MWWB) released their 4th album a few days ago. Here it is in its entirety.

Take one drummer, add two guitarists each playing an eight string guitar, and you get this. No need to season with vocals, the concoction is spicy enough already. Heavy in parts, but inventive, with lots of different moods and tempo changes...

I predict a massive Glam metal revival thanks to the HBO Peacemaker series starring John Cena. Finished it yesterday with the Mrs, pure unadulterated irreverent fun from James Gunn with an absolutely banging soundtrack which he's also shared on Spotify.
