Who will win the Euros ? on 09:36 - Jul 7 by bwildered
Let’s not be rash, but one side has had there bacon tonight ( with mustard ) and will be too hot to handle ! It could be a fairytale .
Despite what you might believe from the advertising, Denmark is only the world’s 8th largest exporter of bacon. The UK imports more bacon from both The Netherlands and Italy than we do from Denmark and both countries are larger exporters than Denmark.

Never a free kick, never a penalty, never in doubt !
Gotta still be in it to win it !
Hands up if you were more nervous watching U’s v Southend end of last season .

Ultimately if we cannot find the culprit, should be kicked out - DISGRACEFUL.
Uefa has charged England after a laser pointer was directed at Denmark keeper Kasper Schmeichel during Wednesday's Euro 2020 semi-final at Wembley.
Television pictures showed a green light on Schmeichel's face just before Harry Kane took an extra-time penalty.
Schmeichel saved the spot-kick but Kane scored the rebound as England won 2-1 to reach Sunday's final against Italy.
England are also charged with causing a "disturbance" during Denmark's national anthem and setting off fireworks.
"The case will be dealt with by the Uefa Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body (CEDB) in due course," said a statement from European football's governing body.
There was some booing heard during the Danish national anthem and that has been criticised by Prime Minister Boris Johnson's official spokesman.
"We don't want fans to be booing teams," said the spokesman. "We want fans to be showing support and being respectful.
"Uefa are looking into that, that's a matter for them but it's not something we would want to see."
The Football Association and Uefa officials searched for the source of the laser pointer when they were first made aware of it being used during the first half of extra time.
However, they were unable to find those responsible.
Following the game the Danish FA representatives were asked if they wanted to make an official complaint, but said they did not wish to take the matter any further.

See it home, see it home, could not see it home .. A tactical display, a la McG, on the international stage . One nil up in normal play and then penalties, never had we a better opportunity to see it home and at home. Congrats to the Azurri for staying with it .
Far to defensive Extra time with more attack minded players on the pitch showed what might have happened. Italy kept their heads even when a goal down Shots on goal tell the story Well done to Gareth and the boys getting England to the final when very few thought we would

That is the reason I am not 100% supportive of Gareth Southgate.
Much too defensive and always sets up his team not to lose. He is scared to play with flair
We have such good attacking options but GS starts with 7 defensive style players .
GS will be handsomely rewarded for failure and get a contract extension with a pay rise

Didn't lose a single match though did we? Tournament football is all about results not being the best team. We conceded two goals, won four out of seven games in 90 minutes, and one in extra time. We just lost the lottery that is penalties once again. The only person in the position to criticise Gareth Southgate is Gareth Southgate.
Failure? Two semi finals and a final in major tournaments in three years is failure? We'd managed four semi finals and one final in the previous 52 years. I'm as disappointed as anyone that we didn't win the trophy but this is a very young squad on an upward trajectory and there's no one better for the job than Gareth Southgate.
Can't help thinking that bringing on two "specialist" penalty takers within seconds of the end of a gut wrenching 120 minutes was not the manager's wisest decision of the tournament. They had absolutely no chance of feeling part of the game or of getting up to speed for what was about to happen. Should have introduced them halt time of extra time or not at all. Where were all the supposed senior players hiding? Both Kane and Maguire came to the front, why not others ? Little annoyed with Gareth especially for what it will do to young Sako in the coming months / years. I might just add that the best team won.
