TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR 1 WOLVERHAMPTON WANDERERS 0
Harry Kane scored his 250th goal for Tottenham as they moved top of the Premier League with a hard-fought win. Not surprisingly everyone predicted a win for Spurs, but it is well done to Pinault_Noir for being the only one to get it spot-on. Just the 1 point for everyone else, that included 15 going for a 2-0 in what was the weeks most predicted score.
CRYSTAL PALACE 3 ASTON VILLA 1
Wilfried Zaha scored twice as Palace earned their first win of the season after coming from a goal down to beat Villa. Nobody had this spot-on, but 16 did get the outcome.
FULHAM 3 BRENTFORD 2
Aleksandar Mitrovic headed a 90th minute winner as Fulham earned a first win in 25 top-flight London derbies, after earlier throwing away a two goal lead. Again nobody got this spot-on, though 8 did have the outcome.
AFC BORNEMOUTH 0 ARSENAL 3
Arsenal swept aside Bournemouth to continue their perfect start and rise to the top of the Premier League table. A super 6 had this spot-on, and a further 21 got the outcome.
PRESTON NORTH END 0 WATFORD 0
Preston played out a fourth bore draw in five Championship games against a Watford side who also continued their unbeaten start to the season. Preston are yet to concede a goal in the league this term, keeping a clean sheet in their opening five matches of a season for the first time in the club's history. A good 2 got this spot-on, and another 5 had the outcome.
QUEENS PARK RANGERS 1 ROTHERHAM UNITED 1
Rotherham remain unbeaten in the Championship this season after this battling draw. 3 had this spot-on, and 2 more got the outcome. 20 predicted a win for QPR.
CHARLTON ATHLETIC 1 CAMBRIDGE UNITED 1
Harvey Knibbs' second-half goal earned Cambridge a draw and their first away point of the campaign to end Charlton's 100% home record in League One. With 26 predicting a win for Charlton, and the other 2 predicting a win for Cambridge. No points for anybody from this game.
COLCHESTER UNITED 1 LEYTON ORIENT 3
Orient remain unbeaten this season after this straight forward win. Another game with no 3 pointer this week, but 6 did get the outcome.
CRAWLEY TOWN 0 AFC WIMBLEDON 2
First-half goals from Nathan Young-Coombes and Ethan Chislett gave Wimbledon their first League Two win since the opening day as they sent 10-man Crawley crashing to a fourth defeat in five games. 3 got this spot-on, and another 10 had the outcome.
GRIMSBY TOWN 0 SUTTON UNITED 0
League Two newboys Grimsby extended their unbeaten run to four matches in all competitions after this bore draw. Well done to GOSBTS for being the only one to have this spot-on, and 3 more got the outcome.
The first 10 game week of the season, and it was proving to be a tough one, until the win for Arsenal in the late game, put some sort of respectability to proceedings. In the end there were 16 spot-ons in total, with Division One winning that particular contest 12-4, but it was the 97 total outcomes that made sure everyone put some points on the board. The weeks outstanding performance came from Pinault_Noir, who was the only one to get three 3 pointers, the wins for Spurs, Arsenal and Wimbledon, and one outcome, to make him the weeks top scorer with an excellent 10 points. It was only Chilvers 96th minute goal for Colchester that stopped from getting a fourth 3 pointer. Only one member got two 3 pointers, that was GOSBTS, who had the Arsenal 3-0 to go with his good Grimsby 0-0 pick. He also got one outcome to give him a decent 7 points. Best of those io get one 3 pointer were RSCOSWORTH and bwildered, who both had the QPR 1-1, and a good five outcomes each, to give them both a very decent 8 points.
In the Premier With last weeks top two getting three outcomes each, there was an opportunity for change, but it didn't really happen, as wessex_exile held onto his lead for the third week running, and thrillseeker only lost out on remaining second by the most 3 pointer rule. Thanks to getting the Wimbledon 2-0 spot-on, it is ghughes11 who moved up a couple of places into that second spot. Five outcomes were enough for mfb_cufc to remain in the final Super Cup place. Getting that good Preston 0-0 spot-on, moved Daniel up a couple of places. At the bottom, five outcomes for concordman moved him out of the relegation zone. The first 3 pointer this season for RSCOSWORTH, was not quite enough to get him out of the bottom three, but he is only there on the first to post rule now.
In Division One Another decent week for GOSBTS keeps him top for the second week running. Having the good Preston 0-0 spot-on, was enough for MrHappy2 to remain in the other automatic spot. The top scoring performance from Pinault_Noir moved up four places into third. Having the Arsenal 3-0 spot-on enabled sevebalo to remain fouth. Despite having the QPR 1-1 spot-on, basher2010 drops to fifth. Five outcomes for burnsieespana, to give him an incredible 16 for the season, has him occupying the final play-off place. Just missing out, a point further back, is bwildered, after his decent week took him up a couple of places. There is very little change in the rest of the league, as things seem to have settled down, even though we are only four weeks into the season.
