Ireland, Scotland, Wales and England will join 16 other nations as they compete for the ultimate prize in rugby – the Webb Ellis Cup – which was last won by the Springboks in 2019. The opening match of Rugby World Cup 2023 will see hosts France face three-time winners New Zealand on Friday 8th September. The final will take place seven weeks later on Saturday 28th October.

Yeah playing extremely well. Really intelligent play and George Ford third dropkick. Argentina will need to make the one man advantage work, so far they playing a poor game but let see what happens.

They need to keep the ball in hand and spread the game across the pitch. Cutting out the errors will probably help too. Lol

Dont go all Trampie on us please. England have been clinical and have a solid pack of forwards. George Ford was sublime. Argies were bloody awful.

It was a mixture. He’ll if a backs to the wall performance by England. Argentina were woeful but you can only play what’s in front if you. 14 men fir most if the game too. Chapeau!

I always enjoyed most the games when I played where we were up against it and managed to win. Sometimes after a while a feeling goes through the team that psychologically you've got the game.

Lol.
Argues put up one of the worst performances ever in the history of the game bearing in mind they had a man advantage most of the game.
They were utterly cretinous and it stank .

England had to do relatively little and must have been shocked at what they were facing l

Credit where Credit is due, England controlled the game very well. They didn’t offer much attacking threat in terms of tries but when they got in a position to score they didn’t dick about, they went for the simple option, kept the scoreboard ticking and all of a sudden Argentina were up against it and started to implode. To put it simply Argentina were abject.

England defence was very fast rushing out and at some times borderline offside or actually offside, but Argentina should have tried to move it wide, instead they kept taking it in to contact and the slippery ball was constantly being knocked forward.

Yes the Argies were totally abject but England totally clinical. However let's not forget England are on paper a very decent side.

Argies dire, England fought hard and kicked their kicks.
Have we learnt that England are better as underdogs ?

Anyway, at least somebody is happy so thats nice to see.

It’s a shame that only ITV have got the rights to this (as far as I know). Useless sports broadcaster.

Oh come on now, that's not fair. England put in a towering display. Ford was imperious with his drop goals, lawes nit everything that moved, heck they all did.

Maybe the Argies looked so bad because England played so well?

True.
And a very good morning to you.
England played the percentages Cat and I’ve not denied that . Credit to them.
However Argentina were suspiciously shyte
Come on now…just over 12 months ago Argentina beat ABs in Christchurch, a bear pit for opposition teams and with virtually the same team
If this was a horse race, they’d be a stewards enquiry

Over the years I've seen France be brilliant one week but shyte the next. It happens.

I see it in football all the time, a team that are the whipping dogs will go out sometimes and give a big boy a tuning.

Sport can be like that, it's nt always dodgy. maybe this one is but someone will need to prove it.

The SA defence has denied Scotland any time on the ball so far. Scotland are a bit hurried and need a bit of a break to get them in the game

I'm nervous for the Wales game we have been rocked by minnows a few times lately.

Do you reckon Scotland could cause an upset v the bokke?

The ref has finally got his scrum penalties correct. SA are living borderline offside most of the first half.

Excellent first half for Scotland - but definitely should have scored a try on that breakaway!!

Plus SA should be down to 14 men.
