Yeah I agree with you but its better late than never.
If the trust pulled their finger out this is what they should be sorting out, as any real power they have is reduced to this stuff.

A maximum 150 seats per game.
Pathetic.

150 seats that wouldn't even do a single age grades league.
These kids need to be caught before they slide them man u and liverpool tops.
They are all with adults all need drinks and food.
So the club ends up earning off evey full seat,
Honestly 150 is very low they should be doing a 1000 at least.

Why is the SCST not sponsoring free tickets? U16 ticket say £15.

Fans yet again calling the club 'pathetic' when they have their own £1million group . Buy 150 ticket for struggling families. About £50k a year all going to the club. Even better for the league cup and FA cup.

Excellent PR which might partly pay for itself once potential members see they are actually active and sign up.

100% there are plenty of underprivileged kids in the SA post code, as a club we should be doing more, along with the City Council who are wasting enough money on pointless projects.

The SCST have around £1m and £5000 coming in each year. This is right up their street. Return the membership fee to £10 and help the kids. A good long term investment.

It's not a fancy idea and it's nonsense again. The only thing you are right about is the trust should be investing money to increase their cash, they shouldn't be giving money away.

Otherwise this is just you trust bashing AGAIN.

The club makes a trading loss which means it is supported by the US owners. (not the Welsh ones). The good old forum boys says this limited long term initiative is "pathetic".

The SCST have £1m on account doing nothing. Why do they not take some initiative and full fill their brief. This is one of them ;-

"Maintain a professional football club in Swansea bring the football club closer to its fans all over the world and within its local community".

What better than encourage young fans to engage by buying up and selling low price tickets to under privileged youngsters. Finding new fans for the long terms with all the money going back into the club.

The Trust is at an all time low in terms of respect after the new board were dealt a very bad hand by their predecessors from 2015 to 2021. These folks found giving easy money to London lawyers a lot easier than giving free tickets to disadvantaged children from Swansea and the area. Sit around the table with Coleman and make an initiative.

When the Trust is active doing good things fans will want to join for the full £10. They would not be "givng money away". The money (£10 per ticket) goes to the club. They will get much of thant back in new members if they advertise this initiative.

A £40,000 goodwill investment would do wonders. 200 £10 tickets for 20 games organised by the club.

For every ticket the trust gives away shouldn’t the club be giving 9 away ?
Based on percentage of ownership.

Yes. Too much for them I think but at least it would be a start.

You called it pathetically small. I then challenged you for the Trust to notionally match it, so you now want a negotiate a pro rata discount. The Trust have close on £1m.

I am pointing out the pitfall for my football club. I see issues down the line

a) Equal pay requests
b) Trans footballers
c) Behavioural standard required by club staff. (appropriate language and use of appropriate personal pronouns if applicable)

Adding 25 new players means (if they are treated equally) double the resources for physios, gym time, medical insurances etc. If the club give the ladies a lower level of treatment expect trouble.

To avoid issues seen in Spanish FA and English FA I would have kept the women looking after their own business. Funding is a separate issue. The club and Trust should be open about how much the women team will cost the club.

So for all the things he says about the rest of us, is he a mysoginistic, sexiist pig?

Answers on a postcard.

PS, Resloven, Rubiales made a sexual advance to a woman who didn't want it, didn't consent to it and anywhere you go these days that is wrong, try to come into the 21st century.

Maybe come down to my street and kiss my wife without her consent and see what happens.

They had won world the world cup (possibly for the first time) after a torrid build up period. It was an exceptional historically unique circumstance.

What “torrid build up period”? It’s the Spanish golden generation who would have walked Euro 22 if it’s wasn’t for injuries. Off the field sounds a mess, the team and players are anything but.

You are miles off the with the “exceptional historically unique circumstance”. These things happen in Spain - Del Bosque and Capello suffered the same feat after successful seasons.

I would take this on a step, bin off all the parking, rent the space out to half a dozen food trucks, put up a small stage and turn it into a fan zone.

Put the u21's or ladies on first, all one ticket price, encourage families to come for the full day.
