Well now I feel really ignorant.
Never knew he was a Hoop (100 games !) and I spent parts of my youth at Wealdstone questioning in song his mother's promiscuity. For me he was just another loser manager for that pile of doo-dah, Harrow Borough.

Nice to see him recognised in his lifetime. He was apparently an electric winger for us in the 50s. I'm not sure he could do a job for us now at 91 though... However, if he was a right back... |  |

I started going In 1958 so I'm guessing I must have seen him play, I can't remember bloody anything anymore.

Bingo! I've just remembered, one of my Brother in Laws dated his daughter, or it may have been his niece, back in the early / mid 90's.
Apologies if you read this MB darling, but you were a bit of a headache.
