As Neil Warnock said to the players early on in his tenure: "Just go out and enjoy it lads you earn a fortune and this is a smashing club" Perhaps us fans should just do the same - It's a fantastic squad and dressing room and this season won't be determined by the result on Saturday. "It's another sold out away end, this is our club and we are heading in the right direction" Come on you R'rrs

I said at the time it said more about them than us. Whatever happens tomorrow JS have given us something to follow and be proud of.

| By all means enjoy it - Preview on 21:03 - Oct 16 with 1556 views | Myke | Cheers as always Clive. I think that is an important reminder, this is the most fun we have had for years. Following QPR usually leaves us miserable/anxious so it is important to remember it is supposed to be an escape from our daily grind, not an extension of it. Tomorrow will be a tough test, but we can’t really use the mid-week exertions as an excuse (a) because we were at home and (b) because we weren’t particularly exerted. Also, while not fully au fiat with the English infrastructural system, I would have thought Birmingham would be one of the more easily accessible places to get to. As long as we remain competitive I will be happy enough. I harked on enough last season about how you would know in the first five minutes how we would play and that often our attitude was really poor. I feel somewhat vindicated by this when we hear JS saying he is constantly demanding higher standards from his players, which they all seem to have bought into - the ‘first five minutes blues’ seem to have been banished - long may it last Our two games v Birmingham last season were at opposite ends of the spectrum. The home game, thrilling, full of purpose and THAT Morgan goal. The away game alongside the game at WBA utterly abject. We may well lose tomorrow - I feel it will be a low-scoring draw, maybe even 0-0 - but as long as we compete (and don’t pick up any more injuries) I will be satisfied | | | |

That's why I wanted Morrison to play 30 mins or so against Derby. It's inevitable we are going to need him at some stage and he has not played in a long time. Derby was the perfect opportunity to get some minutes into him.
