LOTSW is controversial but I've only started watching these on Dave now. They were quite cleverly written. They're not split your sides humour but I find them funny.

Beat me to it. The Irish actor, David Kelly, only died last year. Better known as the builder in Fawlty Towers and in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Last I heard Richard O'Sullivan was living at Brinsworth House, the home for distressed entertainers in Twickenham, previous residents Alan Freeman, Charlie Drake and MIck McManus. Cursed by Tony Blackburn.
O'Sullivan stole the heart of Blackburns missus at the time, Tessa ? Blackburn the lily livered shi* was crying all over the place in public at the time.
Most of my favourites already listed, so a another that has links to the above mentioned Mr O' Sullivan, ' Man about the House' another spin off was 'George & Mildred'
One that no one under 50 would know of and certainly would not get an airing today.

No one else liked Big train?!, just me then. Armstrong and miller deserve a shout imho. Gavin and Stacey. I've also just started watching The Trip with Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon which is very good. Mighty Boosh first series.

Probably this^^^ but I'd ditch Bottom for Only Fools. Phoenix Nights was brilliant.I still piss myself when I think of the little sketch at the end of each show of someone auditioning.One was a one legged teddy boy hopping about singing an Elvis number .The club owner fella said 'Yea very good but do you know any other songs' The one legged fella said 'Aye, Blue Suede Shoe.' Superb!
Found it .He hasnt hopping about but I got the main line right. Loved Phoenix Nights..

My favourite ever comedy episodes however are;
The Black Seal (final episode of Blackadder s1. Whatever you think of that series as a whole, that episode is better than anything else in any series)
Terry Scrote (the 'super grass' episode of A Set of Six with Rowland Rivron).
'The Black Seal' is the absolute dog's b0ll0cks. Myself and two mates can quote more or less the entire episode verbatim - and do pretty much everytime we see each other. Almost every single line is comic genius.
The trial scene is 'The Witchsmeller Pursuivant' is a masterclass as well.
