Oldham were certainly entertaining under Kewell. Their 49 goals is third best in League 2, but the 56 goals they have conceded is the worst in the league.

Jackett's contract was due to finished at the end of the season, and he was going to leave, but the Portsmouth owner couldn't wait until then. Overall he has done a good job there, but it is all about expectations. Think he would be a good fit for us.

One would hope a Jacket would be a good fit.

But not a chance he would accept being subordinate to Humes.

Lee Bowyer now gone from Charlton. Johnnie Jackson, yes THE Johnnie Jackson is put in temporary charge. Now there is name from the past, a great servant and reliable player for the U's 2005-9. Wish him well, Charlton are still in the mix for play-offs so has everything to play for.

Not surprised Jackson is doibg well for moving the greasy management pole as was always a by thoughtful player. Interesting to compare him with Kevin Watson who has never shown the same signs of being able to make it.
Hope Jackson does well and gets the job as Charlton Manager on a little bfterm basis.

I still want Parky back at the club.

Doubtful any appointment until the close season and then whether League Two or National League.

Don't ever see Parky coming back as we are a different club and he a different person plus he has previously stated his desire to Manage in the north because of family.

Unless the unthinkable happens, or if he really doesn't fancy it, I'd imagine if we continue to show more of the grit on display last couple of matches, the job will be Wayne Brown's for the taking.
