Auf wiedersehen, pet - who’ll be joining the great northern exodus? on 09:44 - May 10 by wessex_exile
Certainly unlikely to be bottle jobs Walsall. Chesterfield have the momentum, I reckon they’ll do it too.
Well, shows what I know - in a last ditch effort to save his job, Mat Sadler's Saddlers win 2-0 at Chesterfield in the first leg. Sorry Gerry, you might be buying the tickets next season.

My daughter has already suggested that Wessex. Come on Warsaw, back to your earlier season form. Stiil, it looks like we will have a reasonable amount of games "up North" next season if first leg matches are a guide.

Incidentally, and so much for home advantage, there have been nine EFL play-off games so far, and Bristol City are the only team to have won at home. Let's hope Charlton (and of course Rochdale) can buck that trend tonight.
However, as I have a trip to Wembley depending on it, fingers crossed Warsaw fall seriously foul of it tomorrow night.

An amazing win by Southend United tonight....l recall Colchester United being 3 -1 down to Rochdale at Spotland's and drawing 3 -3 to earn a replay in the F.A. Cup in 1971....well Southend were also 3 -1 down and went one better with a 4 -3 victory ( AET ) and it was well deserved!
Sounds like Ben Goodliffe was prominent for Southend. Hopper and Bonne too.
Forest Green Rovers next for Southend.

Bonne’s introduction on the hour was apparently the game changer for a remarkable comeback. At least Charlton stuck to the script, their final against Leyton Orient will be tasty.
I watched the keenly contested play off game between Charlton and Wyscum.
Charlton deserved to win but what a prat Nathan Jones is. His histrionics were embarrassing culminating in that ridiculous kneeling moment just prior to the end of the game.
Go Orient in the final.
