Moves too raise the horizontal pole in United Way by the shuttle bus turning circle, has concerns raised in accessing the ground after match where motorists are unable at present to turn right from the car park into Boxted straightroad, which would ease congestion, with at present left only being available in leaving the site.

It comes as a motion will be proposed at a full council meeting, next week, to introduce a six-game trial to lift the barrier at Boxted Road following matches.
A trail period up to Christmas would mean pole lifted for a hour after match to ease further congestion .
Obviously the local councillor objects to the proposal, highlighting traffic congestion in the surrounding Chesterwood area .

Unless they do something smart with the car park traffic then as soon as queue to go left builds up all the people wanting to go right will be stuck in it. They need two queues, one to go left and one to go right and try to use as much of both car parks as possible to stretch the queues out. I would be very surprised if this happens.
