Week 19 results LIVERPOOL 1 ASTON VILLA 0 Villa manager Steven Gerrard made a losing return to Anfield as Liverpool win it with a "harsh" Mo Salah penalty. Well done to TheFatGooner for being the only one to get this spot-on, and a further 26 had the outcome, with 12 going for a 3-1 in what was equally the weeks most predicted score. STOKE CITY 0 MIDDLESBROUGH 0 Both teams only manage to have one shot on target in this bore draw. Nobody had this spot-on, and onlt 2 got the outcome. 25 predicted a win for Stoke. SWANSEA CITY 1 NOTTINGHAM FOREST 4 Boss Steve Cooper savoured his first return to Swansea as his Forest side made it eight games unbeaten with a thumping win. Nobody got this spot-on, but 8 did have the outcome. ACCRINGTON STANLEY 1 BOLTON WANDERERS 0 Tommy Leigh's winner edged Stanley closer to the League One play-off places with a narrow victory. 4 had this spot-on, and another 11 got the outcome. CHELTENHAM TOWN 2 LINCOLN CITY 2 Cheltenham get a 95th minute equaliser. Another game with no 3 pointer. though 7 did have the outcome. MILTON KEYNES DONS 1 OXFORD UNITED 2 Mark Sykes scored his second goal in as many games as Oxford came from behind to win. only 2 had this spot-on, and 3 more got the outcome. BARROW 2 SWINDON TOWN 0 Second-half penalties from Ollie Banks and Josh Gordon secured Barrow a first league win in ten. Well done burnsieepana for being the only one to get this spot-on, and another 4 had the outcome. EXETER CITY 0 TRANMERE ROVERS 1 Exeter's poor week continued with a second home defeat as Elliott Nevitt scored the only goal to win it for Tranmere. Well done to basher2010 for being the only one to have this spot-on, and 2 more got the outcome. 23 predicted a win for Exeter. MANSFIELD TOWN 2 SALFORD CITY 1 In-form Mansfield made it nine wins in ten games in all competitions as they came from behind to beat Salford. A sublime 5 got this spot-on, and a further 14 had the outcome, with 12 going for a 1-0 in what was the weeks other most predicted score. STEVENAGE 0 CARLISLE UNITED 2 Jon Mellish and Jordan Gibson were on the scoresheet as Carlisle get a rare win. Well done to Lewis_1 for being the only one to have this spot-on, and 2 more got the outcome. 20 predicted that Stevenage would get a first win under manager Tisdale. After the tremendous 6 game week last week, it was back to the mediocre fare we have had for most of the season, with a number of unpredictable scores again. Just the 15 spot-ons in total, that was mainly due to the wins for Accrington and Mansfield, who along with the outcomes from Liverpool, were the highlights, as the other seven games only produced single figure points. Despite 3 pointers not being easy to find four members did well to have two each, the best of them being Lewis_1, who had the Mansfield 2-1 to go with his good Carlisle 2-0 pick, and burnsieespana who got the Oxford 2-1 to go with his good Barrow 2-0 pick. They both also had three outcomes, to give them a share of the weeks top scorer with a very decent 9 points. We are now at the halfway stage of the season, and to show just how tough it has been, this is the first time in my administration of the Happy League, that nobody has reached 100 points at this stage. In fact last season twelve members had managed that feat, with many others in the nineties. If anybody can achieve the magic 200 points this season, they are almost certainly going to be Champions. As the 1-0 continued its good recent run with another two today, it is now the top score for the season with 18, two more than the next best the 1-1. At this halfway stage the 138 games have finished with 54 (39.13%) Home wins, 45 (32.61%) Draws, and 39 (28.26%) Aways. Those pecentages have been static for quite a few weeks now, after the draw dominated the early part of the season. Happy Cup The draw and fixtures for the Quarter-finals will take place tomorrow. Champions League Only three weeks and 22 games now for this seasons qualification. The member currently in the eleventh, and final qualifying place is Daniel, with his 76 points. as Division One continue to dominate qualification. In the Premier Having the Mansfield 2-1 spot-on made sure RSCOSWORTH continued his run at the top, but his lead was reduced by TheFatGooner who made the right decision again, in going 1-0 all games, to give him a decent 8 points. Another to benefit from having the Mansfield 2-1 spot-on was Daniel, and he moved up another place to third. After a third week without a 3 pointer mfb_cufc drops a place to the final Super Cup spot, but only on the most 3 pointer rule from basher2010. A solid 6 points moves unitedwhites back into the top half again. Two spot-ons, the 2-1 wins for Oxford and Mansfield, moves Sector4 up another place, and nearer to the Super Cup than relegation. Getting the Accrington 1-0 spot-on eases concordman away from the bottom three, but things continue to contract in this division, and there is only a 9 point difference between Super Cup and relegation. In Division One Wow. The top of this league could not be any closer, with only 2 points separating the top five places. Three outcomes were enough to keep blueeagle top for third week running, but that lead is only a point now from Lewis_1, whose top scoring performance moved him up three places into the other aurtomatic spot. That is only on the most 3 pointer rule from wessex_exile and Pinault_Noir. Even though he drops a place to fith, a decent 7 points for Tropical_Us, moves him to within a point of the automatics. Three outcomes helped to keep gerry_us in the final play-off spot for the fifth week running. The top scoring performance from burnsieespana moved him up four places into eighth. His highest position since he was sixth in Week 10.
