Week 33 results BRISTOL CITY 2 WEST BROMWICH ALBION 2 West Brom get a 93rd minute equaliser, to make it the eighth time this season City have conceded after the 89th minute to drop points. Nobody got this spot-on, but 5 did have the outcome. 19 predicted a win for West Brom. HUDDERSFIELD TOWN 0 AFC BOURNEMOUTH 3 Second-placed Bournemouth gave their Premier League promotion hopes a huge boost with an impressive victory at third-placed Huddersfield. Again nobody had this spot-on, though 8 did get the outcome. CHARLTON ATHLETIC 2 BURTON ALBION 0 Charlton moved 13 points clear of the League One relegation zone with this comfortable victory, as Burton don't manage a shot on target. A sublime 5 got this spot-on, and a further 17 had the outcome, with 11 going for a 2-1 in what was the weeks most predicted score. FLEETWOOD TOWN 0 DONCASTER ROVERS 0 No surprise about this game being a bore draw as Fleetwood take their winless run to 14 against the divisions lowest scorers. No 3 pointer for anybody here, but 2 did get the outcome. BRADFORD CITY 1 PORT VALE 2 Play-off chasing Port Vale made it three League Two wins on the bounce with this victory, as Bradford manager Mrak Hughes has won none of his last eleven home games as a boss. Only 2 got this spot-on, and 2 also had the outcome. SUTTON UNITED 1 TRANMERE ROVERS 1 Three games without a win for Sutton, and three games undefeated for Tranmere, after this stalemate. 3 had this spot-on, and another 2 got the outcome. I thought these fixtures were probably the hardest to predict so far this season, and the results did nothing to prove otherwise. It was left to the Charlton 2-0 to provide half ot the total 3 pointers, and almost half of the total outcomes, in what was another disappointing week. Just one member got two 3 pointers, that was burnsieespana, who had the Charlton 2-0 and the Sutton 1-1, to make him the weeks top scorer with a decent 6 points. In recent seasons members have been getting, or coming close to, the magic 200 points required to win a league, and the record of 39 spot-ons in a season has been equalled a few times. But with only 42 games left to the season, and despite Division One being one of the most exciting ever, nobody is going to get near those figures this season. This is down entirely to week after week of unpredictable results, even though the percentage figures for homes, aways, and draws, are still very much in line to previous seasons. Because of that the league winners this season are in line to get the lowest points total in my time of administrating the Happy League. The previous lowest league winners were ethicsgirl, who won the Premier with 169 points, and eagledares, who won Division One with 177 points. In the Premier For the third week running there is no change with the top two scoring the same number of points again, That means TheFatGooner maintains his 6 point lead thanks to having the Charlton 2-0 spot-on, and concordman replying with getting the Port Vale 2-1 spot-on. By having the Sutton 1-1 spot-on RSCOSWORTH moves back up to third, replacing unitedwhites, who moves back to final Super Cup spot. On another low scoring week there is little change in the rest of the division. One other change in fact, with basher2010 moving back into the top half, after getting the Port Vale 2-1 spot-on. In the bottom half mfb_cufc fires a first blank in a 6 game week since Week 25 in the 2019/20 season, and Sector4 eases his relegation fears by having the Charlton 2-0 spot-on. In Division One This league has been close all season, but never more so than it is now. Last weeks top two thrillseeker and blueeagle were both grateful for the Charlton outcome to give them a point, that means the former still leads on the most 3 ointer rule, but they have been divided by BFG, who moves into the other automatic place for the first time, thanks to getting the Charlton 2-0 spot-on. An impressive four outcomes for Lewis_1 moves him up a place to fourth, just 2 points further back. Just the Charlton outcome for Tropical_Us, and he drops back to fifth. Three outcomes keeps wessex_exile in the final play-off place. The top scoring performance from burnsieespana moves him up a couple of places, and he is now taking dead aim at the play-offs, after his two 3 pointers give him more of them than anybody in both leagues.. Just outcomes for MrHappy2, gerry_us and Pinault_Noir, but they remain in play-off contention. Another spot-on for bwildered, the Sutton 1-1, as he continues his good run, but I think the season is going to finish just too soon for him to make the top six. THE TABLES (238 out of 280 played) (Tie-breaker: Most 3 pointers, and then the first to post) Week 34 Fixtures International break time again, so we have 6 games from Leagues 1 & 2.
