Forget all statements , McG was treated exactly like the Colchester Four. Being Head Coach of the first team must have been the highest earner on the coaching staff and has his rolling contract was up for renewal, this decision was done on fiscal options alone irregardless of footballing issues .

The night football died
at 08:37 14 Jul 2020

After a good start to the season they were plummeting down the league and would probally end up below the Tractorboys . But given the timing of lockdown and the resultant PPG vote ended in a play off spot, while other clubs were gaining momentum for a promotion push .
Forget the data Noah only goals win games . Typical example of playing their strength, has they had no skill. Down by Christmas .

Have I gone lockdown stir crazy but, why would we offer the possible vacant position to Humes ?
What would happen to Steve Ball's position ? Why would we want to resign any of the Colchester Four if we have already released them ?

Was the 70s and 80s the golden era of football? Talk by Essex Uni researchers

Gave it a watch.
Kept wondering why only the 70/80's ring fenced in the topic . Should have included the obvious answer of the 60's where English teams started to conquer European competitions and the only time we won the World Cup.

Question one Mr McG from the Rovers interview. Why have you failed to get Colchester promoted while under your charge ?

Luke Garbutt released by the Toffees
at 08:33 3 Jul 2020

It was reported that Everton manager Ancelotti was asked about his release - never heard of him .
Garbutt got a serious injury on loan at Fulham therefore had a season out.

Nine released at Exeter , including Moxey who got sent off in the Final, Martin who scored first goal against the U's and Dickenson who came on has sub in all play off games , not required at U's has quite happy with Bramhall and Clampin, both we could develop and move on.

Collared.

U's OWS now advertising NEW U's shirt for season 20/21. However struggled to see any change except that collar has been redesigned . Not sure this justifies full outlay for those who already have last seasons radical change, especially in these times.

U's play a very similar game to Exeter, so likely to have lost this game also, has we give possession to easy throughout the season, and when played some pretty football it did not get anywhere .
Congrats to Northampton , only one side in this game from start to finish .

First two away games for U's next season Exeter followed by Barrow !!

Fully deserve H-T 2-0 lead . Cobblers did everything we didn't . Played on the front foot, big side but played to there strength .
Just goes to show , two upfront required at this level .

Is It Time To Get A Proven Manager/Coach ?
at 17:29 27 Jun 2020

Wayne Brown would have won promotion with the Jammers before lockdown .

Re the academy, only Lapsie from the last play off game has come through now on paper, with dozen players also released, will now need couple of seasons for the next batch to establish and fast track to the first eleven .

Play Off Disappointment tips.

Please do not contact the NHS or Samaritians, these are key workers who do KEY work only, thanks.

So stay calm take deep breaths and blow into paper bag, that's better. Now settle down, you could watch Nodge live on terrestrial TV, where a tackle or shot is a major event. Also some rewind TV, no Tractorboys has games were too long ago to get any mention. Avoid the beach has most are flocking to find Fossil Farm or are the Romford Navy. Wonder why the London stadium still hosts football. Essex are still double champions and no franchise 16.4 ball games.
Alternatives- grab that face mask you bought and head for town centre or supermarket, but beware the one way system though, footprints and some who wear storm trooper helmets, or those who moon walk backwards because they missed item in isle. Or just go somewhere to queue.
Also gardening, doing lockdown jobs promised, take the dog for that haircut and yours, sunbath while awaiting track and trace police .
Better now , fixture list soon be out .

Questions
at 21:00 23 Jun 2020

None of the Colchester four will be offered new contracts or resign any on reduced terms .

Only the Chairman will decide if the position of Director of Football is worthwhile.

Bramhall , Poku and Chilvers later likely to command a fee .

Clubs might get proactive with one for one deals in future has a option to spending.

Losing experience players and there strengths will undoubt inhibit any improvement, but every club hopes to sign any player has a improvement on the previous, and hope acquire greatness.

Reassess all unfulfilled match credits and season tickets together with new terms for another future L2 campaign .

Is football becoming part of the Wild West ? With the game is now being played in quarters, with the drinks break midway through both halfs and also multiple substituations, it's looking like being set up for the future American market . Pass the popcorn .

Super U's to be Wembley bound after impressive victory at St James' Park
at 13:19 23 Jun 2020

For the neutrals, a decent game of football. U's conceded two soft goals and a failed off side trap winner. Would have been a perfect display with away goals counting double.

Next years promotion favourites , losers of this years play off final , Bolton, Salford and Tranmere .
The U's still floundering around a seventh position unless changes in the dugout .

Should remember 1983 Cup final has it was a I was there moment GB .

Grecians to have hair-raising time at the JobServe against the Super U's
at 17:21 19 Jun 2020

If the game was behind closed doors .

Q1 - How did they be present in the ground ?

Q2 - How was there a Exeter flag in the away block of the West stand ?

Q3 - Did you get a option to collect your cardboard figure ?

Romper, bomper, stomper, boo, can see Freddie , Scurlogie Champ and many more during the outbreaks of football .
Fine free kick by Bramhall, following a cheap free kick from Dickenson . If we can stop giving possession away less regularly in the middle, have a good chance of progression .
Would have took that result before kick off, so let's finnish what we started on Monday night .
