Amazing to think that Tutte's seen us riding high in L1 (he was on the park at the famous 0-2 at Southampton, although of all the players that day it's his contribution I remember the least), then when we bombed out of L1 and was still there to see us in the promotion frame back up again.
Somehow though, peripheral to the rollercoaster when he should have been central to it.
Won't be missed, but still I hope he finds a way of maturing his talent into a career. |  |

I'm not sure who would he dislodge from Cav / Lund / Allen / Vincenti, and looking further forward, should we get promoted this season (which after 1 promotion in 40 odd years is admittedly a big if), would he be good enough to command a first team place in League One? |  | | |

Can't believe I've not read a post from Talking Sutty on this thread yet.
For me, I'm delighted that Tutte has gone. There is definitely quality in there somewhere but I don't think he brought much of it to us. As for Dicker I'm sure Hill would have liked him to stay but he's moved up a division and closer to home. We didn't stand a chance - can't say I'm too bothered either way. Lund and Dicker should have been the best midfield pair in our league, the fact that it didn't happen probably says that we were never going to be able to get the best out of Dicker. Good luck to him. |  |

Two good moves today, Tutte was obviously not happy here so if he wants to go then good move to let him. There is a very good player in there but again, we didn't see it often enough and I think that's down to his attitude, or at least it came across that he had a bad attitude. I don't think his Dad helped the situation, what a pest that man is. Good luck to the lad wherever he may end up (no doubt his Dad is waiting for Barcelona to call).
As for us needing to bring somebody in because we've freed up two spaces, I disagree completely. If somebody very good becomes available then fair enough, we never stop looking for ways to improve but we have plenty of quality in the centre of midfield and then we have the likes of Bastien Hery and Callum Camps who deserve a chance to come in as and when needed. Those saved wages could be better spent on Scott Hogan's replacement if and when he leaves for bigger things. |  |

Not surprised by this in the slightest. Hilly has always been happy to 'shapeshift' (TM Keith Hill), and Tutte and Dicker (to a lesser extent) leaving is another example of this. I expect to see a new player coming in over the next few days, but not neccesarily a midfielder. |  | | |

If we were under budget before, we must surely be saving a packet now, all in the garden looks rosy and knowing Hill he will find someone just as good if not better for half the wages. We do need experienced cover, as I wouldn't want to throw all the youngsters in if we had an injury crisis it wouldn't be fair to them or the team having got us to the league position we are in. | |

Is this and Dicker's departure down to Keith's trust in young Allen?
Or has Keith found a better player to bring in using the wages saved? Both Tutte and Dicker will have been on some of the higher salaries I would have assumned. The money from the cup run - which will continue beyond Saturday - is also there.
Do you lot reckon you 'need' reinforcements, to really secure your promotion? Or are you confident in the squad?
Have the Hogan rumours died down? Do you think he'll stay put?
