We might get 2 goals yet but I got dug out by someone ( you know who you are ) for saying after the Barnsley game that I was worried about where the goals were coming from in open play, I was accused of moaning even though we had 7 goals in 3 games, they obvously didnt get my point , maybe they do now. Odd this…
Was owed a sum of money by my solicitors (boring story, so I won't elaborate) and resolved that if they stumped up the cash by yesterday, I'd secure a ticket & attend today's game.
They then wound up - in this age of electronic money - sending a flunkey to deposit a hand-written cheque into my bank account. Of course, the bloody thing won't clear till the middle of next week, so effectively they haven't paid me till it does.
Therefore, I decided (in accordance with my intentions) that I'd stay home today watching tv and waiting for news of the thrilling game I'd missed.
Life is funny sometimes…
Now with feet up, waiting for Leicester versus the Arse to start on BT Sport, considering whether I should head out later to see the David Brent movie (Mrs Pullie is away, so world's my oyster).
