Pitch was playable at kick off, obviously not ten minutes later, never seen rain like it.

Actually I have, League Cup tie with Barnet n the Bush in 1994, Bradley Allen snorkling his way to a hat trick.

I remember the quarter final with AEK Athens at home.. 3-0 up and the floodgates opened at half time. The game should have been abandoned as the pitch was like a lake in the second half. I've often wondered what would have happened if the match was replayed. We were on for a big score before the rain ruined it.

Remember that one. Probert was the referee. Tunnel chat afterwards was he casually said that had the game been level he'd have abandoned it

Kevin Gallen scored a great goal in injury time, never thought enough was made of that goal due it it being fairly insignificant but I think one of the best goals he scored for the club.

Who says Germans don't have a sense of humour???

As soon as the PA announcer told us the game has been called off , they played 'Why Does It Always Rain On Me?' Followed by ' Singing In The Rain' and a plethora of songs with the word Rain in the title. I'm also told they played Its Raining Men, on Berlin Pride Day, but by then I was leaving by the trades men's entrance (ooh err fraulein!!)
