Opening batsman caught red handed. Aussie Captain admits he knew about it and it was planned by the team leadership team.

Having been caught red handed, they have admitted the above. Their penitance is awesome.

Bancroft has said he will deal with the damage to his reputation. (Well, there’s nothing other thsn that that you can do)
Bancroft has said he regrets he did it (because he was caught)
He also admits to shoving the tape down his fronts (because he was caught)
Smith has said he will not stand down (because he has no honour)
Smith has said it will not ever happen again (because you got caught)

Just like Michael Atherton, down right cheating has happened and is being swerved by the perpetrators.

Hope the ICC act with some backbone.

It's strange how in the space of a couple of days that they are now viewed almost as being the victims in this. 12 month bans are not long in the context of test crickets - it's pretty much banned from the next home series and the next away series and not much more than that. I know there's all the itty bitty one day T20 stuff, ,but it's been a "test match crime" so they should have a test match punishment.

WAHHHHHHHrner's turn for the pre-conceived press statement and crocodile tears. Onion replacing sandpaper in the pocket? He normally hits things he doesn't like. The bullies and cheats have been found out, and what do they do? Cry, embarrassingly, in front of the world.
Good.

Those are real tears...their agents told them whai it amounts to in hard cash, after taking into account the sponsors who have bailed.

Its a shame Atherton wasnt treated the same....another deceitful public schoolboy who got off his crime.

What have public schools got to do with it?

Doubt the Aussies went there, and neither did Atherton. Manchester Grammar, which is probably even worse for you. It became independent in 1976

It did indeedy, and also admitted many a young working class scrote who could read and write a bit subsidised by old schoolers and the like.

Very different to the public schools such as Eton and Winchester who are a bunch of toffee nosed snobs who run the country for themselves and hide radishes up each others bottoms.

All these winging crying sorry aussies its pathetic...
They are only sorry for one thing and that is because they got caught simple as that...

The punishment of 12mths 12mths and 9mts is also pathetic.

They should have got life bans thus sending the message cheat and you pay for it....

My all time favourite Dale player Mr Lyndon Symmonds

12,000+ quid a year.....unless you earn less than 52 grand in which case you may be eligible for partial bursary. So if you want to hand over approximately 25% of your income you can send little johnny, but not little jemima there.

He cheated but carried on as England captain...Harold Larwood bowled a few short pitched balls to australian royalty and never played for England again.

There's plenty of similar establishments for girls, or indeed those who identify as girls

Wouldn't have sent mine there if money was no object, but have absolutely no problem with anyone else doing so - i just don't feel resentful about such things, life's too short and interesting for other reasons

My parents saved £84k at that rate!

Agree he cheated.
Agree he should never have captained ever again.

Josh Hazlewood. 0-127 in the current test. Bless him.
