Trust EGM update 11:50 - Apr 16 with 33874 views | electricblue | We'd just like to provide an update to Trust members following our announcement earlier in the week that we intended to call for an EGM. We have delivered a letter to the club this morning where we have formally called for that EGM. In the past 48 hours, we have been in contact with a number of shareholders, and we were delighted that we had a total of 54 unique shareholders backing our call for an EGM which equated to around 25% of the total shareholding. A massive thank you to all supporters for their backing over this. We will update you once we have a date for the meeting. I wonder that out of the other 75% of shareholders with also vote for an EGM.. With what the yanks said about the club i think they just might.. [Post edited 16 Apr 2021 11:59]

Trust EGM update on 16:59 - Apr 21 with 3455 views | 442Dale | https://www.rochdaleafc.co.uk/news/2021/april/statement_12.04.21/ Updates provided after the board meeting on the 19th. At what point would that be seeing as 2022 is after the 19th as well? Amusing to see the Glazers say they need to communicate better with United supporters today. It exists everywhere.

Can you not just focus on the Crewe game - it would be far more convenient?

Soz. Like can’t City fans now focus on winning the title? Shocking that supporters do this.

Trust EGM update on 21:46 - Apr 22 with 2856 views | TomRAFC | Given the shocking lack of communication from the club, they could probably reuse the last letter they sent out, just by replacing insufficiently vague mentions of the contract extension with insufficiently vague mentions of the EGM.

Trust EGM update on 22:13 - Apr 22 with 2792 views | Sandyman | All very quiet isn't it, in this new world of improved communication promised at the last Fans Forum (10th March 2021) and several times since. Remember the club mailshot? March 25th 2021: "We have already held a meeting with the Dale Supporters Trust and held our first Supporters’ Panel meeting this week to discuss season cards, in our attempts to improve communications. We understand supporters’ frustration with results and off-field decisions, and we admit that communication could and should have been better throughout the season." Dale Trust website 8th April 2021: "Given we had close to a third of the responses seeking more information with a time frame for replies from both. We followed this up with a number of questions to both the Rochdale AFC Board of Directors and Chris Dunphy last Friday. We published the responses to our Members’ questions from Chris Dunphy on Sunday evening. Unfortunately, we did not receive replies to those questions put to the Club and despite a number of subsequent attempts to by ourselves to obtain answers to the questions, we have been repeatedly informed by the Club that they will be unable to answer our Members’ questions until after the next scheduled Board Meeting that is due to take place on Monday 19th April." Still nothing from those "working very hard" to improve communications. Tick Tock....
Trust EGM update on 22:15 - Apr 22 with 2783 views | 442Dale | It’s a good job we didn’t have to get involved in the media frenzy around that ESL nonsense too. Hopefully something will be communicated tomorrow before the end of the week, if not something from the Trust to update even if it’s reporting no update from the club as yet.

Trust EGM update on 09:27 - Apr 23 with 2470 views | electricblue | We really should not be surprised by the lack of communication from the club after all they have been promising to sort it for many a season and yet it continues. My finger firmly points to one person and thats the person who is generating a huge amount of despise from the supporters..

Trust EGM update on 12:44 - Apr 23 with 2280 views | Hopwoodblue | Can we please all just concentrate on being relegated to Div 2 Information is on a need to know basis only and as fans we obviously don’t need to know. We will be contacted when season ticket money is required to cover our extensive back room staffs wages over the summer months. [Post edited 23 Apr 2021 12:46]

"As agreed with the Dale Supporters Trust, further updates on investment propositions will be provided following the Board meeting on 19th April." Does make you wonder where supporters and shareholders rank in the whole scheme of things, doesn't it? The Speakmans were invited on more than one occasion " as official Club Representatives, due to their offer of support to Rochdale AFC." Shareholders representing 25% of issued shares have requested an EGM and as of 2pm today one shareholder I spoke to from this group has heard nothing. Yesterday, at 11:45 a.m. on the Rochdale Ambassadors business WhatsApp group, a message was posted "How about the Ambassadors group go to an RFC and Hornets game when the rules allow it?..." Within 5 minutes the CE had responded "That's a great idea...….will progress that idea *****…"

The problem will come after relegation is confirmed and they want to communicate with us to buy season tickets to help them out. After treating the supporters like idiots and an inconvenience they simply will not be in a position to complain when the supporters decide to give them the two fingers back, which will be exactly what some of us will be doing this summer if Bottomley is still at the club in any capacity.

Saw on Twitter some clip where he mentioned feeling sorry for the supporters of Premier League clubs but didn’t watch it all as I can’t stand to see him speaking. How about thinking of the fans of our club for fookin once?

Trust EGM update on 19:39 - Apr 23 with 1706 views | James1980 | Maybe the trust could let us know if they have chased the club for a response. Also could they not call the club out on the continued lack of communication. One thing though the last messages from the club re internal matters haven't exactly gone down well have they. Having already requested a response, the trust shouldn't even have to chase these bumbling idiots up... Will be good fun watching when the shoe's on the other foot chasing fans for season ticket money, let's see how their communication is then, useless inept idiot

One of the roles of the trust must be to hold the club to account in situations like this.
