Anyone who works for the public sector (which Lineker does) is required to be impartial. Many don't bother, but Gary is a bit higher profile than most.
No problem with him saying what he thinks, but perhaps he shouldn't be the BBC's highest paid personality when he does. |  |

There was mention of Brexit being an impact factor earlier in the thread, since Brexit we’ve lost our ability to invoke Dublin Protocol which provided a means to remove the migrant to the country they first arrived in the EU.
