Good move now they can start pulling all the Rugby crap off the walls.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Passage of time maybe, but that would have been post our involvement early 2001. Just happy to have done our bit for no money or business interests.

Would be interested to see a form of link to Mel paying off ninth floor. Knew about the car park etc.

That was late 2001.

The perception regarding behaviour and attitude of footballers, certainly in the Prem as cheating diving jerks is real .
Talk to anyone next time on holidays on a bar just chilling casually about sport .
Millions have turned their back on football seeing it as dirty ,corrupt and self important

Sadly, the name of Swansea should have stayed in the professional era we have .
Neath - Swansea ffs.

This is a truly historic rugby town/ city and one that has seen glory alright . That is not something to be proud about .

Decent exchange anyway

Yeah they have and I understand why.

It’s still infinitely bigger than rugby though, with the exception of a handful of countries like NZ and SA. Certainly in Wales.

I’m not saying that to look down on rugby. I genuinely wish it was better supported. The six nations is probably my favourite sporting competition. As I said above though, I’m a plastic who’s only interested in the big games.

Feel sorry for the genuine local rugby fans.

A lot of water has gone under the bridge....silver shiled/9th floor only got involved through Steve Hamer brother of trust stalwart Nigel.....the ultimate aim was development of the commercial units at Morfa but the council at the time decided they would look after the commercial units and the club should build the sya6....as it happens in the end the council built the stadium and another Consortium built and fan the retail park.
Many people contributed the pressure groups and then the Trustaling with Mel whose buying of the debt I thought it was about ÂŁ475000? He paid finally allowing Petty to be ousted .
Folk think our current owners are bad ....we ve seen worse

They (Lewis, Hamer etc) used to come up to Gloucester once a month to appease the supporters there who were very militant. And they weren’t in small numbers. Organisation was key. Had them dancing on a string.

I remember that well.

That picture of him staring through the bars of a window at Exeter City was hilarious and very intuitive. Especially as we had sent them down.

Fans forget the series of unfit owners of the club until the purchase of the club by the 'so called sellouts' and the Trust.

Sensible local people with the interests of the club at heart (allied to long term venture capitalists) saw the council prepared to do a deal over the Liberty Stadium.

They had a brilliant 14 year run of success before the 2016 sale. The chairman had explained in 2014-2015 (Shelvey sale time) this could not go on forever and new investment was required.

Th Trust's problems started here as they did not act on the Chairman's words and get the view on a share sale off their membership in 2014-2015. In 2016 they were not ready to sell any shares as they had no mandate.

Well,I don’t always agree with Res but he doesn’t insult ,get personal, bring up old usernames or seek to simply target individual posters.
No malice in him,as I see it,which is more than can be said of some of our super fans who won’t comment unless they go to a game . Such heroes .

Res gives it and takes it .

He winds people up. So do others and far more . Wind yer necks in and look in the mirror .

Thank you sir. I would never i encourage slurs or anyone to put anyone else on ignore. The ignore button is for wimps and a form of censorship.

The scroll button does the same job for the individual.

Ospreys should be recognised at the Liberty , they are part of the history there .
Even a prominent display cabinet to visitors , no probem with that .

Harry Griffiths Bar, never got there underage and under the posh seats of the Center Stand .

I was on the North Bank looking across at seating , Double Decker had wooden stalls .

Highlight of the night , loved night games more then were the mens toilets .
55 years later on the images of the North Bank bogs still linger , great days .

I remember the bogs on the North Bank looking for the shallow parts to avoid getting your trotters wet, although I wasn't very successful usually

Great days

They can put up whatever displays they want in their own stadium when they've got one. There should be no trace of them left in ours.
